Top 10 Disney Brunettes

Other than characters with red hair, there are also some noteworthy Disney characters with brown hair. Also known as brunettes.
The Top Ten
1 Rapunzel (Tangled) Rapunzel is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 50th animated feature film Tangled, and its short sequel Tangled Ever After. She is the tenth Disney Princess, the first Disney Princess to be CGI-animated, and the first Disney Princess to have freckles or green eyes.

If you try to tell me that she isn’t a brunette, then you haven’t watched the movie. The only reason Rapunzel has blonde hair is because of the sun flower which was used to save her mother. This gave Rapunzel healing power as well as blonde hair. At the end of the movie, Eugene cuts her hair which causes her to lose her power. It also causes her hair to turn brown. So Rapunzel is technically a brunette. Also, she’s hot either way. She is such a great princess. But at the same time she’s kind of a Mary Sue. She’s been trapped in a tower her whole life yet she somehow adapts to the outside world very quickly. She’s still less of a Mary Sue than Ariel. I even recently created a petition to remove Ariel from the Disney princess lineup but I haven’t gotten anyone to sign it yet. Rapunzel is very outgoing and can also be pretty aggressive. In the Disney Channel cartoon we get to see her explore more things. She is so great and has a really nice personality.

2 Belle (Beauty & The Beast) Belle is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 30th animated feature film Beauty and the Beast (1991) and in the live action remake Beauty and the Beast (2017). Belle is the intelligent and selfless young daughter of an inventor who does not conform to the normal ways of her small minded village.

In a couple of weeks, I’m gonna be seeing Zooey Deschanel, Rebel Wilson, Taye Diggs, Anthony Evans, and Kelsey Grammer perform songs from Beauty and the Beast at the Hollywood Bowl. I’m hoping Paige O’Hara makes a surprise appearance. Also Susan Egan because I love Susan Egan. Belle is an iconic Disney princess. She’s not the kind of girl who focuses on her looks. She focuses on being smart. She also cares a lot about her father. I like how she judges people based on their personality. Most women only go for guys with good looks. But she turns down Gaston because he is a jerk. She then proceeds to fall in love with the Beast because she was able to see the good in him. Belle is definitely a great judge of character. Every actress that has portrayed Belle in some kind of way has been really good. Except for Emma Watson. She should not have been chosen for the role.

Belle is way better than Wendy and Rapunzel.

3 Wendy Darling (Peter Pan)

Wendy is the only Darling child that anyone cares about. Because of her chemistry with Peter and because the other kids are very forgettable. If I had to choose between Wendy and Tinker Bell, I’d choose Wendy because she has a kind heart and rarely gets angry. She’s a damsel in distress, but she has more of a personality than that. She’s a very well developed character. And a pretty one. One day I’ll marry her. Oh wait. She’s already married. As shown in Return to Neverland. By the way, her daughter really gets on my nerves.

4 Jane Porter (Tarzan)

Jane is hot. I can see why Tarzan fell in love with her. She is the smartest character in the movie. She was able to see that Tarzan can be taught how to be a proper gentleman. She taught him how to talk like a human, how to behave like a human, and how to have sex like a human. And in the end, she decided that she liked Tarzan for who he is. Totally understandable. Only thing I don’t like about her is the vocal performance. I don’t know who provided the voice for Jane, but she cannot voice act to save her life. This isn’t the worst vocal performance for a female character I’ve ever heard, but it’s close.

5 Prince Phillip (Sleeping Beauty)

Prince Phillip showed that Festival of Fantasy dragon who’s boss! I had no idea he could make its head burst into flames like that! I can certainly tell you we won’t be seeing that dragon again anytime soon. As for the movie, he is a very bland character. Remember, this list isn’t a ranking of how good these characters are. Phillip is simply a character that a lot of people remember because he’s in a Disney princess film. That’s why I decided to include him. I thought he was worth talking about. But at the same time, he’s not worth talking about. Because he doesn’t have a personality. He doesn’t get a lot of screen time and he only has a few lines of dialogue. How are we supposed to care about anything he does? I also felt no chemistry between him and Aurora. Because they are both so underdeveloped that we just don’t care. Sleeping Beauty is a fine movie, but it has some very bland characters.

6 Wreck-It Ralph (Wreck-It Ralph)

I hate how everyone is judging Wreck-it Ralph 2 from just watching the teaser trailer. Yeah, because the teasers for Zootopia and Frozen DEFINITELY made those movies look like masterpieces! I love how the entire Frozen film was just about the relationship between a snowman and a reindeer. And it ended up doing so well that it got a Broadway musical inspired by it. The snowman and the reindeer definitely made a huge impact on Disney. Making billions of dollars. Who knew everyone loved a snowman and a reindeer so much? Anyway, Ralph is such an iconic character. He’s a villain in an arcade game, but he’s a nice guy outside of it. He even cares so much about Vanellope that he tries to save her. Yet people act like jerks to him because he’s a bad guy in a video game. I relate so much to him since a lot of people hate me despite being the nicest guy on the planet. Why else would I give the director of A Wrinkle in Time the advice to never direct a big budget movie ever again?

7 Megara (Hercules) Meg is a heroine from the Disney movie Hercules. Meg is the love interest for, the protagonist, Hercules. Meg sold her soul to Hades for her boyfriend's freedom. However, the (soon to be ex) boyfriend ended up cheating on her. Meg is scared of getting hurt again. However, once she sees how genuine Hercules's feelings for her are she learns to let herself love again.

Keep in mind, not every character on this list has to be good. Hence why I didn’t put the word “best” in the title! With that being said, Megara is such a terrible, no good character! I hate everything about her! She has no redeeming qualities! She’s the kind of woman that can get on your nerves real quick in real life. She always speaks in a sarcastic tone. It makes her such an unlikeable person. I don’t know why Hercules wanted to be with her after helping Hades. The reason she works for Hades is also very stupid. She did it to save her ex boyfriend. And then that boyfriend cheated on her. I’m surprised she was ever in love with that jerk. I didn’t care when Meg had a pillar fall on her. I wanted her to stay dead. At least Hercules ends up killing her after they get married.

8 Leia Organa (Star Wars) Princess Leia Organa, later known as General Leia Organa, is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, portrayed in films by Carrie Fisher.

Star Wars is great and always will be. I’ve been hearing good things about Solo: A Star Wars Story, but these are just first reactions. The first reactions for Rogue One stated that that movie was better than the Force Awakens. Which is certainly not the case. I’ve chosen to ignore first reactions because of that. I’ll just wait and see the movie myself. Speaking of Star Wars, Leia is the absolute best Disney princess. Despite not being an official Disney princess. She’s not even a regular princess. She’s much better than that. She can be pretty aggressive and very tough. She is and always will be one of the best Star Wars characters of all time. She was much better in the original trilogy than how they treated her in the Last Jedi. Flying back to the ship in space? How is that even possible? They also didn’t really give her much to do in that movie. She was practically pushed to the side.

9 Flynn Rider (Tangled) Flynn Rider is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 50th animated feature film Tangled, and its short film Tangled Ever After.

Shazam! That movie’s gonna suck! Tangled is literally the only good movie I’ve seen Zachary Levi in. And it is honestly really good. One of the best modern Disney movies. Eugene is just a straight up great character. He’s basically this movie’s version of Aladdin. He starts out as a thief then falls in love with a girl and realizes he doesn’t want to be a thief anymore. He’s also very funny. He has some of the best lines in the movie. My favorite scene is when he saves Rapunzel by cutting off her hair. He really cares about her. Eugene starts out as the kind of character we should hate, but he gets much better as the movie goes on.

10 Tarzan (Tarzan) Tarzan is a fictional character, an archetypal feral child raised in the African jungle by the Mangani great apes; he later experiences civilization only to reject it and return to the wild as a heroic adventurer.

George of the Jungle is stupid. Tarzan is the real ape guy we should care about. He’s just so awesome. He’s raised by Apes and he’s able to do what apes can do. Like swinging on vines, surfing trees, fighting cheetahs, saving random women from being attacked by monkeys, and causing people to hang. All things that make him a great ape. He’s much better than the 2016 version. That was terrible.
