Hannah Montana was what really Disney Channel really popular, along with High School Musical. It received commercial success and had a movie in 2009.

Kim Possible was when Disney Channel started to become popular after the Lizzie McGuire era. When it debuted, it received 2.5 million viewers, the most for a Disney Channel Original Series at the time. Then, all of a sudden, it expanded popularity and have an enormous amount of fans and reruns. It has been renewed for the fourth season due to STD's popularity and fanmails.

Ahem, that show used to be good before it was cancelled.
