Quasimodo's life is just filled with nothing but cruelty despite Frollo agreeing to raise him as his own he still treats Quasimodo like dirt and the one time Quasimodo leaves the safety of the tower he is celebrated as the new King of Fools before the crowd turns ugly and tie him up as they throw food at him all while Frollo just sits there allowing this to go on just to teach him a lesson.

Poor Dumbo just can't catch a break from the minute he arrives in the Circus he is constantly mocked and ridiculed by the other elephants at one point his mother takes it upon herself to punish on his tormentors only to be locked up, after being left on his own the elephants still refuse to take pity on him and later he is forced to be a clown where he again is humiliated in front of everyone, thankfully by the end of the movie Dumbo overcomes adversity to becomes a real star.
