Top 10 Disney Christmas Movies

Merry Christmas! Here is a list of Disney movies that are fun to watch during the holidays!

The Top Ten Disney Christmas Movies

1 The Nightmare Before Christmas

Nightmare Before Christmas also happens to be my favorite Halloween movie! And that's a reason why this movie is so great! It's both a Halloween and Christmas movie! I watch this movie every year! I really love the characters and I love every song! Danny Elfman did a really great job with the score! And the animation is definitely outstanding! The character designs are very great! I don't think I've ever met anyone who hated this movie! It is such a great classic! It's very creative and fun and a perfect movie to watch twice a year!

Its got Halloween in it, but its about Jack Skellington who is bored of Halloween. So its more Christmas than Halloween. Everyone in Halloween town don't know anything about Christmas they even accidentally kidnap the Easter Bunny so every Christmas item is things that scare everyone in Christmas town.

2 Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas

I watched this movie for the first time last year! I've so many great things about it and I really liked it too! Each story is very funny and entertaining! My favorite one is Goofy and Max's story! Max is much more likeable when he's a kid! And I like seeing him bond with his dad and not giving up on his belief in Santa Claus despite Pete telling him that Santa isn't real! You're a mean one, Mr. Pete! And the other two stories are really great too! This is a very heartwarming movie and definitely one of my favorite Christmas films!

3 A Christmas Carol (2009)

This is Disney's third Christmas Carol adaptation! They seem to be obsessed. This version is directed by Robert Zemeckis who also directed The Polar Express! A film that I don't really care for. This version of A Christmas Carol uses motion capture technology! And the characters look MUCH better than Tarkin and Leia in Rogue One! Jim Carey is very excellent as Scrooge! And he doesn't just play Scrooge, he plays all of the ghosts as well! When I saw this movie in theaters, I was really scared! This movie is filled with jump scares! But these days, I find them to be very fun! I watch this every year! Definitely a great Christmas movie!

4 The Muppet Christmas Carol

This is Disney's second Christmas Carol adaptation! And in this version, the story is told by the Muppets! They did a really great job with this adaptation! Despite it being a Muppet film, it's a pretty serious film! They mostly focus on being true to the original source material rather than being a Muppet film filled with humor. And I really like that! The scenery is very amazing and I thought Michael Caine as Scrooge was pretty good! This movie shows that the Muppets can certainly make a good adaptation of A Christmas Carol!

5 Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas

Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas is the sequel to Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas! This one, however, is entirely CGI! The CGI in this film doesn't look that great but I liked seeing them try it out! I really enjoy the movie itself! The movie consists of different stories. Each of them show the true meaning of Christmas in heartwarming and hilarious ways! I wouldn't say this is as good as Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, but it's still a very entertaining film!

6 Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year

Winnie the Pooh has never had a bad movie! I've always loved Winnie the Pooh ever since I was a kid! And this Christmas movie is definitely a great one! It has the same kind of humor and the same kind of heart that we love in the Winnie the Pooh movies! The characters are great as usual and the story is very nice! I've only seen this movie once so far but I'm definitely gonna watch it again!

7 Toy Story that Time Forgot
8 Frozen

Not every movie on this list has to take place around Christmas. It just has to have a wintery kind of feel to it. And Frozen definitely does! It takes place in summer but due to Elsa getting upset, she turns summer into winter. So this really feels like a Christmas movie. Elsa has ice powers, there's snow everywhere, and there's a talking snowman! Despite this being one of the most hated Disney films right now, I still very much enjoy it! The songs are great, the characters are great, and the overall wintery feel is great! Better movie than Moana! And again, I like Moana but that movie was not as good as people say it is.

Ugh, Frozen is Annoying And Overrated, Watch A Real Disney Film Like Toy Story, Cars, Zootopia, Wreck-It Ralph, Guardians Of The Galaxy And Star Wars The Force Awakens, Not FROZEN

Man, sometimes you can annoy me. You barely give a reason as to why you hate things. And, no, something being "overrated" is not a reason to hate something.

Man this movie gets too much hate. Sure, it's annoying, but the movie was good.

This isn't really a "Christmas" movie. It's more of a winter movie.

9 The Santa Clause

Before I watched this movie, I thought it was gonna be stupid! I thought it was gonna be terrible! I thought I was gonna hate it! But I was wrong! This movie is very entertaining! Tim Allen plays a father who becomes Santa after the previous Santa gets into an accident. Honestly, Tim Allen was the perfect choice for this role! He is very hilarious in this movie! I was really surprised that I liked this film! I can totally see why people consider it a classic! The plot is original, the relationships are great, and the humor is funny throughout! It even spawned two sequels! Although, both sequels were pretty bad and forgettable.

10 Recess Christmas: Miracle on Third Street

Does anyone remember the cartoon, Recess? Probably not. But I thought it was a pretty good show! It even has a Christmas movie! It's not a great movie but it's alright I guess. The animation is pretty good! I thought the characters were pretty fun and funny at times! But the overall writing isn't that great. I'm guessing not very many people have seen this movie! It's not the memorable. But this movie certainly has some good things about it!

The Contenders

11 The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
12 Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983)
13 Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas

This movie isn't exactly good. In fact, it's pretty terrible. But the reason it's on this list is because it has some pretty nice moments that make it seem like a good movie to watch on Christmas. I'll admit, as much as I hate this movie, I sometimes like to watch it around the holidays. I really like how Belle wants to be able to bring Christmas cheer to the castle despite Beast forbidding it. The new characters that are introduced in this film are pretty enjoyable! I really hate this movie, but it's definitely worth watching for Christmas.
