Top Ten Disney Girls That Should Be Considered Official Disney Princesses, But Aren't

The Top Ten
1 Giselle (Enchanted) Giselle is the main protagonist of the 2007 Disney animated/live-action hybrid film "Enchanted". She is voiced and portrayed by Amy Adams. She is a kind and dreamy young woman who is from the kingdom of Andalasia who was then sent to present-day New York City by Queen Narissa. She was inspired by Disney Princesses such as Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, and Ariel as well as Lady Godiva a historical... read more

I 100% agree. I confirm her as an official Disney Princess so that I can have her as my favorite Disney princess because she caring, sweet, beautiful, and has a gorgeous dress and voice, just like the other Disney princesses.

Though really she and everyone else on this list should consider themselves lucky. Because they're not "official", they weren't reduced to stereotypes and put into uninspired "comfy" Hot Topic outfits.

Some of the items on this list make sense, but some of them don't because some characters aren't even princesses to begin with, like Lilo, Tinker Bell, and Wendy

2 Meg (Hercules)

She should be the princess of the gods since she married Hercules the prince of the gods

I like meg she's strong and independent she is perfect for little girls

3 Esmeralda (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) Esméralda, born Agnès, is a fictional character in Victor Hugo's 1831 novel The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.

Esmeralda is kind, beautiful and courageous and should be a Disney princess

4 Tinker Bell (Tinker Bell) Tinker Bell is a fictional character from J. M. Barrie's 1904 play Peter Pan and its 1911 novelization Peter and Wendy.
5 Jane (Tarzan)
6 Wendy (Peter Pan)
7 Kida (Atlantis: The Lost Empire)
8 Nani (Lilo & Stitch)
9 Anna (Frozen) Princess Anna of Arendelle is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 53rd animated film Frozen.

I thought she was considered an official Disney princess?

10 Alice (Alice in Wonderland) Alice is a fictional character and protagonist of Lewis Carroll's children's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel, Through the Looking-Glass.
The Contenders
11 Nala (The Lion King) Nala is a fictional character who appears in Disney's The Lion King franchise and is introduced in the animated film The Lion King in 1994.

I did some research and the reason why she is not a princess is because she is a lion which is a very dumb excuse. She should be offical

Technically, she's a queen.

Yes! Nala is awesome!

12 Princess Leia (Star Wars) Princess Leia Organa, later known as General Leia Organa, is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, portrayed in films by Carrie Fisher.
13 Elastigirl (The Incredibles)
14 Tiger Lily (Peter Pan)

The irony is, she IS a princess. She is the Indian princess of the particular Indian tribe of Neverland.

15 Minnie Mouse (Mickey Mouse) Minerva "Minnie" Mouse is a cartoon character created by Ub Iwerks and Walt Disney. She was first drawn by Iwerks in 1928, as was Mickey Mouse. Her former voice actor Russi Taylor (1944 - 2019) voiced her for 30 years & also married Wayne Allwine (1947 - 2009), the former voice of Mickey Mouse. Minnie Mouse is currently being voiced by Kaitlyn Robrock
16 Violet Parr (The Incredibles) Violet Parr is a fictional character from The Incredibles and Incredibles 2. The movies follow her and her family as superheros, living in a world where superheros are known as destructive and must abide only by their secret identities. Violet has the power of invisibility (reflecting her quiet personality) and force field creation, identical to Invisible Woman (from an unrelated franchise). She is... read more
17 Madellaine (The Hunchback of Notre Dame II)
18 Maid Marian (Robin Hood)
19 The Blue Fairy (Pinocchio)
20 Amber (Sofia the First)
21 Eilonwy (The Black Cauldron)

Her movie is so forgettable, that's why!

22 Nancy (Enchanted)
23 Melody (The Little Mermaid 2)
24 Elsa (Frozen) Queen Elsa of Arendelle is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 53rd animated film Frozen.

She's technically not a princess though, she's a queen.

25 Lady (Lady and the Tramp)

But she's a dog, not a princess.

A dog can't be a princess.
