Good remake, but Cinderella is a bit of an unrealistic moron. Who the hell just instantly accepts being locked up in a room?
If there was any proof that Lily James is a modern day Julie Christie, this was it.
Captured the heart and spirit of the animated film beautifully.
As with my previous comment, I liked the remake of Beauty and the Beast for the most part. It was entertaining to see Josh Gad perform his rendition of Gaston's song.

Just ok in my opinion. The first act is great, and the third act is pretty good, but the second act is quite bad. Instead of developing Maleficent into more of a villain, now it's about how the 3 fairies are unlikable horrible people and Maleficent being the real parent and friend of Aurora.
Not exactly a remake. Just a story retold from a different point of view with a twist at the end from the 1959 movie. Still a good movie though.
Trchnically the main story but the main villain is an anti hero while the king is turned into a power hungry bastard.
Given that the success of this gave birth to the live action Cinderella among others, I'm surprised this ain't number one.
This isn't really a remake to be honest. It just continued the story from the 1951 movie. Still good though.
Honestly, this is the only live-action remake I like. Beauty and the Beast(2017) was god awful. Lion king(2019) sucked. Cinderella was boring and all of the other ones are either bad or bland. This one had personality. I liked the acting a lot(aside from Jafar's ). The new songs are pretty great. The effects were bad but Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud's acting made up for a lot of it. SO yeah, 9/10 for disney live-action remake standards and 6/10 for just disney standards.
Will Smith is funny in this one.

It's not good, but at least it's better than I expected.
I know a lot of people hate this movie, but I find it okay. It's not good, but it's not bad either. It may be disappointing, but at least it's better than Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent and the Lion King. I guess the only thing wonderful in it is the ending, in my opinion I think it's one of the most perfect endings in film history. That's what makes this movie better than the original.
Anything with Robin is amazing
