Top 10 Best Disney Movies in the Second Dark Age

This is the kind of movie that you'd expect to come from DreamWorks. Like Ralph Breaks the Internet. Except, Ralph Breaks the Internet is such a terrible film that would be bad no matter what studio made from. People who saw that and said they liked it should be ashamed of themselves. Emperor's New Groove, however, is a great film no matter what studio made it. It's just so hilarious throughout. I laugh at all the jokes every time I watch it. It doesn't just rely on humor, though. There's also moments where it lets us get to know the characters. The interactions are very well done. David Spade and John Goodman have great chemistry. Same goes for the antagonists. Eartha Kitt and Patrick Warburton are very hilarious as the villains. I absolutely love this film and it's one of my favorite Disney movies.

Treasure Planet is a movie directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. It's not bad, but not very good either. I really don't understand what it's trying to do here. Yes, it's a different take on Treasure Island, but even though it's set in the future and has a bunch of futuristic aspects to it, but it never stays consistent with that. There's also this very annoying robot character named B.E.N. He is the Jar Jar Binks of the movie. He is just so painfully annoying. Anyway, this movie has good moments in it, but not a lot to make it a good movie.

Disney has gotten so desperate to the point where they want to turn this into a live action film. Lilo and Stitch isn't as great as people say it is, but it's still enjoyable. I really love the sisterly bond between Lilo and Nani. It feels very genuine and I'm sure a lot of people can relate to it. Even the relationship between Lilo and Stitch is believable. Despite Stitch being an alien. However, the plot itself I just really don't understand. Aliens invading Hawaii sounds like something someone would come up with as a joke rather than something that should actually be put into a major film. But, it seemed to have worked for them since this movie has gained a massive following and shows up quite a lot in the Disney Parks. Good movie, but kinda overrated.

This movie has gained quite a following. I personally don't see why. I find it very boring. I did not connect with any of the characters. They're all so one dimensional. Even the villain is uninteresting. This was back before twist villains were a regular thing in Disney films. Yet this movie has one. The villain here is just so forgettable. There aren't a lot of scenes that I remember from this movie. I wasn't invested in anything that was going on. The animation is good, but that's pretty much all this movie has going for it. A very skippable movie.

Why don't people talk about this movie more often? It's a cute movie about a dog who thinks he's really the character he's portraying in a T.V. show and then gets lost and has to get back to his owner. Okay, I'll admit. This movie kinda rips off Toy Story. But it's still a well made film. It has a lot of heart to it. It's also the only good thing Miley Cyrus has ever done in her entire career. This is a legitimately great film. Everyone should really watch it.

I would say this is the best movie of Post-Renaissance Disney. It came out the same year I was born! I wish I grew up in the 80s, 90s, or 2000s.

The thing that surprises me is that people seem to hate this movie. I personally enjoy it. There's a lot of characters this movie introduces, but I find them to be very likeable and hilarious. Although, I wish some of them got a little more development. The only character I don't really care for is the robot. I just find him to be very annoying. Yeah, Treasure Planet and Meet the Robinson's both have an annoying robot character. What's up with that? I find the villain the be very interesting and he has a lot of funny moments. I was also kinda surprised by the twist involving him. My main problem with the movie is that they shove the message down our throats. They constantly keep saying "keep moving forward" as if we still don't get it. It's a great message, but they don't have to keep telling us what it is. Overall, I really like this movie. One of Disney's most underrated.

Brother Bear is the prequel to Brave. Kinda. A lot of people didn't like this movie, but I thought it was cute, funny, and heartfelt. I especially love the brotherly relationship between Koda and Kenai. The animation is also beautiful to look at. But I do acknowledge that it has problems. It can be pretty tonally inconsistent at times. I also felt like the Phil Collins songs didn't help out the movie unlike in Tarzan. Still, this is a very enjoyable and underrated film. I love watching it.

Fantasia is my favorite Disney movie of all time. Unfortunately, Fantasia 2000 wasn't able to live up to that. It's not bad, but it's nothing great. I like that it tries to incorporate CGI into the segments. The music is also really nice. However, the celebrity cameos are what ruin it for me. Why did they need to be there? I really hate when movies try to force in celebrity cameos that don't add anything other than to fill up time and for people to say they know them. Also, some of the animated segments are a little too silly for my taste. This had a lot of potential, but it just falls flat.

I'm pretty sure Dinosaurs can't actually talk. To be fair, this is still better than Walking With Dinosaurs. Which was an objectively awful movie. Disney's Dinosaur, while visually impressive, is just straight up boring. No memorable characters and no memorable scenes. The dialogue is also very terrible at times. It's a movie worth watching for the animation alone, but that's pretty much it. It's easily forgettable.

This movie is atrocious! What was Disney thinking when making this? This is the most mean-spirited film they've ever come out with. Every character is such an unlikeable jerk. Especially Chicken Little's dad, Buck Cluck. He acts like he doesn't care about his son at all. It wasn't until he won a baseball game that he became proud. I want to say he's the worst father ever, but Peter Griffin is a lot worse. The jokes are also not very funny. The humor feels like something you'd see in a DreamWorks film. But even then, the jokes still wouldn't be good. This movie is awful. Disney really messed up with this one.
