Best Disney Villain Songs
My all time favourite Disney song is Be Prepared, but even I have to admit that Hellfire is the greatest Disney villain song of all time. You can’t beat this song. The choir, visuals, orchestra, lyrics, themes and the expression in Tony Jay’s voice (you could really hear the torment that Frollo was going through) was phenomenal. I actually think that Tony Jay’s performance in Hellfire is the best performance in a Disney song, due to the amount of emotion and expression he had in his voice. I still prefer Be Prepared, but it doesn’t beat the musical masterpiece known as Hellfire.
This song is so intense, so adult, so badass! And not to mention part of it shares the tune of part of the main theme of the film, The Bells Of Notre Dame. The lyrics are so extraordinary, and not something you'd think of when you think Disney -- you can feel Frollo's emotions and the torment he's going through throughout this scene. And the voice is just the perfect voice for a villain; so threateningly evil, it's a shame I can't remember the actor's name right now. And this has nothing to do with the song, but I love the dialogue directly after it
"I had a little trouble with the fireplace" cracks me up every time!
It’s the best. I do love Be Prepared, but you cannot get a Villain song better than this. Lust, Hell and just pure awesomeness. How this didn’t get an Oscar for best original song just confuses me. Who knew that a song about an old man’s boner would be this good. Tony Jay did a fantastic job singing this (which was a bit weird for me because he played Shere Khan in Talespin, my all time favourite Disney character!) LOVE THIS SONG!
No matter how much I love Scar and The Lion King, I still have to say that Judge Frollo is the best Disney villain ever made in my opinion. Frollo still sees himself as "righteous man" even when he is singing about his lust for a girl he wants that much that he could burn down the whole Paris just to get her.
My top 10 disney villain songs
1. Be Prepared- The Lion King
2. Friends On The Otherside- The Princess And The Frog
3. Oogie Boogie Song- Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas
4. Shiny- Moana
5. Mother Knows Best- Tangled
6. Poor Unfortunate Souls- The Little Marmaid
7. The Backson Song- Winnie The Pooh (2011)

How does Scar know so many vocabulary words! When I was younger about 5 or 6, I watched this and I had no idea what he was saying. Now that I understand this, I can't even explain how well Jeremy Irons portrayed Scar and became my favorite Disney villain and sang this song so well
He admits flat out that he wants to kill his brother and nephew, actually most of the song is not his plan this just shows how diabolical, ambitious, and cunning he really is.
I love this song. Camera angels all over the place, color scene from green to red, and best of all natzi marching hyenas. This is my favorite song in the movie
I love this song (not only because of my Little Mermaid bias) because of how Ursula gets her point across. It just shows her true character in a song that gives away how manipulative and ambitious she is.
In my opinion, the best ones are My Lullaby, Snuff out the light and Evil like me, but they're not on the list, so this one gets my vote.
Ursula is Satan, the eels are demons, Triton is God and Ariel is one of God's children being fought over.
Ursula never lied to Ariel. Think about it...
Dr. Facilier is one of those villains where you see him and go holy crap this is gonna be a good movie. For every bad moment in the movie, Facilier gave us a great one. And Friends On The Other Side is one of those moments.
Why is hellfire so popular. This should be number one. At first it doesn't sound that good, but then the second half is just awesome.
Just the pure range of the developed vocabulary makes this song great. Derogate? Deride? come on, who knew these words actually EXISTED?!?!
It's so catchy best villain song ever Unpopular opinion: I don't like Hellfire.
The forshadowing in this song for the rest of the movie is amazing. The reprise of this songs really shows mother gothles real intentions
My fave song of the movie. Donna Murphy can really sing! Not to mention, the reprise gives me the chills. "If he's lying, don't come crying! "
Best Song Ever! I think it is probably one of my most favourite disney song along with the other Tangled songs
Best song of the movie. Very good villain song, I'm happily surprised it's in top 5.
The reprise when they're so happy about doing underhanded, cheap tricks to get their own selfish goals is so funny. They've got a lot of enthusiasm!
When I was a lad I ate four dozen eggs, every morning to help me get large. Now that I'm grown I eat five dozen eggs, so I'm roughly the size of a barge!
This one deserves to be in the top 10. Sure its egotistical but it is super fun to listen too. LeFou is so hilarious
This is one of those few times you actually get to use this different type of language.
I don't watch Pocahontas a whole lot but out of any songs of disney classic movies is this one and Friends On the Other Side.
Pretty G song, what's up with it being so low lads?
This song was so intense, I pray for it to stop!
Benedict Cumberbatch may have played 3 villains that I know of (Smaug, Khan, and Dormammu), but Stiers did it perfectly first by playing both Cogsworth and Ratcliffe. You could take this song and put it on anything else where both races don't think highly of the other. *Cough* Rick vs Negan *Cough*
How the 3 virtues get Santa Claus through the tube, such a fat man in such a narrow tube. and then the song hasn't even started yet. how the burlap sack Oogie Boogie threatens to keep Santa in prison, the song is especially catchy if you know the story after the song. it's the best villain song ever
Oogie Boogie is one of the best Disney Villains! How is this song not higher up on the list? You're joking! You're joking! I can't believe my eyes!
Will someone get this ranked higher up? I'm drowning in my tears.
This song is underrated like the movie.
Powerful singing, and every single line has meaning. Comparing this reprise with the original just makes this even more scary and intense. It shows how Gothel has gone from plain protective to absolutely controlling.
Donna Murphy'so voice is so powerful. This is what makes the reprise even more amazing
This should be number 1. This is the best Disney Villain song ever made.
One of the best unrated song ever made. It's a mixup of all villians songs on once

This song is fantastic. Jemaine Clement is a great vocalist and this song feels like a tribute to David Bowie.
One of the best disney songs ever
Moana is my life. Shiny is awesome.
I love it. It's hilarious, and Tamatoa is amazing too.
Hercules has 3 versions of the Gospel Truth. The version the person is referring to is "The Gospel Truth II"
The Gospel Truth I is about Zeus defeating the Titans.
The Gospel Truth II is about Hades.
The Gospel Truth III is about Zeus and Hera grieving over Baby Hercules' kidnapping.
The muses are very entertaining.
That's not a villain song
Still a good song though
Even though it has no words I still get a feeling of pure villainous horror every time I don't think most have seen Night on Bald Mountain but you should it is a good scene for villain lovers.
It has the best Disney Villain ever!
I literally have chills every time I hear this
