Top 10 Best Disney Villains Not from Disney Princess Movies

First things first, before adding something to a list, you should actually read the title of the list. So many times people have added things that don’t fit the topic of a list. With that being said, there are a lot of great Disney villains out there. But let’s take a look at the ones that are NOT from Disney princess movies.
The Top Ten
1 Syndrome - The Incredibles Syndrome (born as Buddy Pine) is the primary antagonist in The Incredibles. He wanted to be super like the others, even though he had no powers. He was Mr. Incredible's #1 fan, and dubbed himself "Incrediboy," but he was rejected by Mr. Incredible. Angered after being refused, he developed an evil plan for revenge. Despite not having any super powers, he is extremely intelligent and creates state-of-the-art gadgets that he uses throughout the film.

I read a leaked script for Incredibles 2 and it said that Syndrome returns apparently. I’m not sure if that leaked script was real or not. Probably not since I fail to see how Syndrome could possibly return. Syndrome was such a great villain in the first film. Most villains usually don’t have much of a motivation and just want to take over the world just for the sake of doing so, but Syndrome actually has a backstory that makes us understand why he decided to turn. He’s definitely competent at being evil since he has actually killed superheroes. There is no other Pixar villain that even comes close to the level of intimidation that Syndrome has. Except maybe Lotso. Also, I felt Lotso’s backstory was a lot more emotional. Still, Syndrome is just an overall better villain. Hopefully Screenslaver will be great as well.

I think he's overrated, he's gets too butthurt, I mean, dude! Get over it, Syndrome! You can be a superhero on your own! Let Bob Parr be a superhero on his own!

@megasoulhero I wanted to tell you that somebody made fun of your username on my post beauty and the beast Is the best disney movie

Well syndrome was right all along he was casted out for a stupid reason by Mr. incredible

2 Kylo Ren - Star Wars Kyle Ren, also known as Ben Solo, is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. Kylo Ren commands the First Order with a temper as fiery as his unconventional lightsaber. Ren first appeared in 2015's Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Ben Solo, the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia, was ...read more.

Even though, Kylo Ren isn't as great as Darth Vader (I'm personally not adding Vader since I don't consider him a Disney villain. He appeared in Rogue One, but only for about 3 minutes), Kylo is still a very developed villain. In the Force Awakens, I thought he was a pretty good villain, but also a little too moody. In the Last Jedi, they made him more of a character. There's a sign that he might eventually get some redemption. Like when he killed Snoke. I still thought that was kind of a dumb scene. One complaint I've heard people say is that Luke was willing to kill Ben when he sensed that he was turning evil despite being able to see the good in Vader. Which is very out of character. To be fair, he quickly realized that what he was doing was wrong. He hesitated to actually do it and ended up not doing it. So Luke still has a good heart. The Last Jedi isn't an amazing movie, but it's DEFINITELY not worth sending death threats to Rian Johnson over.

3 Hades - Hercules
4 Erik Killmonger - Black Panther

It goes without saying that Black Panther is the best film in the MCU. I know. Unpopular opinion. We can have a little discussion if you want. One of the reasons why I love this so much is the villain of the film. Marvel’s weakest point is usually the villains. Loki and the Vulture were the only good ones. That was until Erik Killmonger was introduced! I love this guy! He is the most developed, most fleshed out villain in the MCU! He even has a pretty great backstory. His reasonings for why he’s doing what he’s doing kind of makes me side with him a little. Killmonger is easily a better villain than Loki. Michael B. Jordan really shows such great talent. It’s great to see him in an actual good superhero movie. I am so excited to see Infinity War this Saturday. NO SPOILERS!

But his sister was a princess

5 Scar - The Lion King Scar is the main antagonist of Disney's 1994 animated feature film, The Lion King. He was the second son of Ahadi and Uru — who were, at one time, King and Queen of the Pride Lands — the younger brother of Mufasa, and the uncle of Simba.

So disappointing that Be Prepared isn’t gonna be in the remake. More reason not to watch it. Scar is such an awesome villain. He’s very dark and intimidating. Just from his first appearance, you can tell that this is a character that means business. It wasn’t up until he started explaining his plan that he became even more menacing. His plan actually almost worked. He killed his brother and became king. He would’ve stayed king if he had killed Simba when he had the chance. That was probably the only thing I didn’t like about him. Other than that, he is absolutely great. I doubt Chiwetel Ejiofor will be as good as Jeremy Irons.

6 Oogie Boogie - The Nightmare Before Christmas

Oogie Boogie doesn’t get much screen time, but in the time he appears in the movie, it’s very entertaining. He has a very enjoyable song that gets stuck in my head sometimes. He has a bunch of traps in his lair that really look frightening and deadly. He is just so enjoyable. There may be a bunch of scary monsters in Halloweentown, but he is the most terrifying of them all.

7 Captain Hook - Peter Pan Captain James Hook is a fictional character, the antagonist of J. M. Barrie's play Peter Pan; or, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up and its various adaptations, in which he is Peter Pan's archenemy.

Captain Hook is by far the silliest Disney villain ever. He’s not meant to be taken seriously. The things that happen to him happen in such a hilarious way. The slapstick involving him is really funny. Him and Mr. Smee really made the movie for me. This is one of those examples showing that not every villain has to be dark to be considered a good villain. They can also be very entertaining. Captain Hook proves that. That’s why he’s so great. Return to Neverland I feel is a very underrated film. Captain Hook is still really funny in that movie as well. Although, I don’t know why they replaced the crocodile with an octopus. Anyway, Captain Hook is really great. One of Disney’s best and most memorable.

8 Loki - Marvel Loki Laufeyson, or Loki Odinson, is a fictional character appearing in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is the adoptive brother and archenemy of Thor, and is known as the "God of Mischief". In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the character has been portrayed by Tom Hiddleston.
9 Yzma - Emperor’s New Groove Yzma is the royal adviser of Emperor Kuzco in 'The Emperor's New Groove'. She is also a mad potions master and after being fired by Kuzco, she tries to use her potions to get rid of him and instate herself as empress.

The Emperor’s New Groove is so great. It was a huge part of my childhood. Yzma was a villain that really stood out to me. She’s easily one of the funniest. Along with Kronk. I still always laugh at that lever scene. It never gets old. Yzma is pretty competent at what she does. I also really like her crazy attitude. She wants so bad to get what she wants that she pretty much acts insane about it. Definitely some great vocal talent by Eartha Kitt. This isn’t the best character she’s voiced though. I still think Venus from My Life as a Teenage Robot is much better. Coincidentally, she’s also villain. Still, Yzma is very great.

10 Cruella De Vil - 101 Dalmatians Cruella de Vil is a fictional character who appeared in Dodie Smith's 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians, Disney's animated film adaptations 101 Dalmatians and 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure, and Disney's live-action film adaptations 101 Dalmatians and 102 Dalmatians as the main antagonist.

Emma Stone as Cruella De Vil is pure genius. I’m looking forward to that movie. Hopefully they don’t mess it up like they did with Maleficent. Cruella De Vil is a very memorable villain. She’s very fashionable and doesn’t stop to get what she wants. Her goal is to kill the 101 dalmatians so she can turn them into accessories. Kind of a weak motivation, but I can see why she would want to do that. She also has a very catchy theme song. That Selena Gomez ruined years later. If I’m being honest, I thought Glenn Close’s performance as Cruella in the live action remake was very great. Probably even better than the animated one. Both are awesome, however.

The Contenders
11 Chernabog - Fantasia Chernabog is a Disney villain from the 1940s film Fantasia, and in his segment, "A Night on Bald Mountain".
12 Gantu - Lilo & Stitch

A few months ago, I made a list of Disney movies that DO NOT have villains. Then someone made the ridiculous decision of adding Lilo and Stitch to that list. I’m sorry, but if you think Lilo and Stitch doesn’t have a villain, you clearly haven’t watched the movie. There is no way ANYONE can watch that movie and not know there is a villain. There’s this whole climax that happens that can pretty much only happen if there’s a villain involved. Besides, how can you not remember Gantu if you haven’t watched the movie? Basically, my only reason for adding him to this list is just to prove that Lilo and Stitch has a villain. Please watch a movie before adding it to a list.

13 Vulture - Spider-Man: Homecoming
14 Lotso - Toy Story 3 Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear ("Lotso" for short) is the main antagonist of Toy Story 3. He takes over Sunny Side Day Care and makes all the other toys work for him.
15 Chick Hicks - Cars

I'm just think he looks so awesomne, some may say he's not a villian, but he caused The King to crash raelly badly so I think he's a villian, and he looks badass!

16 Hopper - A Bug's Life
17 Judge Claude Frollo - Hunchback of Notre Dame
18 Professor Ratigan - The Great Mouse Detective
19 Shere Khan - The Jungle Book
20 King Candy - Wreck It Ralph King Candy (real name Turbo) is the main antagonist of Disney's 2012 animated feature film, Wreck-It Ralph. He was the self-proclaimed ruler of Sugar Rush, a kart-racing video game set in a candy-themed kingdom. Originating from TurboTime, Turbo was once the most beloved character in the arcade, until his popularity was superseded by newer games. Mad with jealousy, Turbo sought to reclaim the spotlight by “game-jumping” into other games and taking them over, coining the term “going Turbo”. He eventually seized control of Sugar Rush by reprogramming the world in his image and instilling himself as sovereign, under the guise of a kindly king.
21 The Queen of Hearts - Alice in Wonderland
22 Director Orson Krennic - Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Director Orson Krennic is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, first appearing in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. As director of Advanced Weapons Research for the Imperial military, Krennic is obsessed with the completion of the long-delayed Death Star project. Krennic was portrayed by Ben Mendelsohn.

Nah, he was mediocre.

23 Professor Robert Callaghan - Big Hero 6
24 Randall Boggs - Monster's Inc Randall Boggs is a Pixar villain from both Monsters Inc and its prequel, Monsters University. He is voiced by Steve Buscemi, and has a reptilian appearance, with purple and blue scales and green eyes.
25 Captain Barbossa - Pirates of the Caribbean
