Disney Characters that Deserve More Attention

He's cute and likable, but not quite forgotten. He appears on Gran Fiesta Tour at Epcot, is a main character on the show Legend of the Three Caballeros, and he appears a couple times on Ducktales (2017).
If you live in Brazil this guy is a cultural icon. If you live anywhere else you have no idea who he is.

Like Jose, he is also very likable. However, him and Jose have had a few major appearances such as at Epcot, their own short series, and a couple appearances on Ducktales (2017).

The fact that Iger traded Al Michaels for the rights to him and then barely used him besides some games that merely used the Disney IP (and clearly had very little involvement from Disney besides, due to the darker and grittier tone of the games, or to be more specific, the Epic Mickey series)... Oswald is an underrated staple.
In all honesty, I think he should've stayed at Universal instead of Disney.
You remember Duffy? Yes, no, maybe so? Well... if you go to Tokyo Disney Sea, it'd be impossible to not. Duffy was originally created as "The Disney Bear" in 2003 to rival the rapidly growing Build-A-Bear chain, he failed in America, but in Japan, he was a success, he was soon given a boatload of friends, a name (Duffy) and his own stage show at DisneySea.
At Tokyo Disney, he also has a girlfriend (Shelli Mae) and several friends of varying species and gender (Gelatoni the Cat, Stella Lou the Bunny, etc).

Why tf is Disney trying to push Clarabelle/Goofy when she already has this guy?

He is practically the mascot of the beloved Splash Mountain ride and the origin of the iconic "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" song.
I know the pitchforks are coming, but yes, he was a good character and most certainly didn't deserve to be cancelled.

Well, we did get to see him as adult at least (the garbage collector in Toy Story 3 was him).

If Br'er Rabbit is on this list, so should the other "Br'er" characters

He is hilarious and very entertaining to watch! Besides Splash Mountain, he does not get much attention because of the controversy of the film he appears in, Song of the South.
An unbelievably cruel character. Not to say that's in itself a bad thing.
If Br'er Rabbit is on this list, so should the other "Br'er" characters

Disney, you didn't need to go and create Skank or whatever tf Gal Gadot's character was! You already had a strong woman for Vanellope to look up to/bond with.

She got a talking doll, but like all the other Sugar Rush kids was reduced to a generic brat in the sequel. Just to sideline themselves, Felix and Calhoun.
At least he got an official tie-in children's book ("One Sweet Race"); too bad he pretty much only appeared to be a generic brat in "Ralph Breaks the Internet".

She was one of the main characters in the Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers show and a cameo in the 2022 film, Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers. Personally, I think her and the rest of the rescue rangers should have more attention.

While I totally understand Mickey & Minnie getting the bulk of couples, Valentine, wedding, etc. merch, Donald and Daisy should be featured more in that kind of merchandise than Stitch and his pink clone.

An underrated Disney villain in an underrated Disney movie.
