Its pretty messed up when the step sisters try on the slipper and dosen't fit the step mother cuts off the first ones toe and the second ones heel so it could fit and on the end the step sisters get their eyes pecked out leaving them blinded oh and in the orginal version there is no Fairy Godmother. - egnomac
In the orginal first published version The Wolf eats both Grandma and Little Red and the story ends in latter versions a woodcutter or hunter in the grimm version flat out murders the wolf cuts him open and frees both Red and Grandma. - egnomac

Not only that but both Hansel and Gretel are purposley abandoned in the woods by their parents due to their family bieng poor and are abandoned so their parents won't starve and because the kids eat too much, parenting at its worst. - egnomac

In the orginal version the Queens death is much more gruesome as she's forced to wear really hot iron slippers and forced to dance until she died. - egnomac
