Best Divergent Characters

Tobias is amazing! I especially love the Four series that came out, and I love his backstory. He and Tris are such an amazing couple, but why did Tris have to die in Allegiant?
4 plus 6 equals a broken heart.

He is my favorite character. I cry every time he shows his tattoos and says he doesn't want to fit into just one category. He is brave kind smart tough emotional and human.

To be honest. I've never read the books. And I've never watched the movies. And also I don't know what Divergent is... but the name Tobias sounds cool. RIP Tobias. If he died. I don't know this series

Uriah is my favorite by far. He is so amazing and funny, too. I am still sad that he die. Stupid Tobias. I blame him. Him and Nita.

WHY isn't he number one! He is positive he is a loyal friend he got 2nd in the rankings! He is just awesome! I can't see why Veronica Roth killed him

Tobias didn't know that he would be there when the explosions. He is a good person! It was Nita's fault.

Christina is a really great friend and she never gives up. When Tris becomes more important in the divergent universe, Christina is still determined to be the best she can be and not hide in Tris's shadow and use her as a trophy or to get attention. I also love how confident she is.

Christina is the best character because she is brave and sticks up for herself. Just because Tris becomes really important she doesn't hide in her shadow, she is still determined. She is also really funny.

She's a damn character better than Tris. She's strong, pretty and realistic. Tris is just downright rude, lazy, obnoxious and annoying, excuse my French. She knows what she wants, and is wise for her own age.

Peter is the most underrated character in the series. He started out as a jerk, and seemed to be the central antagonist. He was cowardly and furled by jealousy. But at the end of the day, just like Tris and Four, he's a loyal Dauntless and a brave man. He does show remorse and helps people. I don't think he's nice, like Four and Tris, but he is a complex character who no one really understands. Deep down he's a good person

He may seem like a jerk but when it really comes down to it he is on the right side.

He is awesome. Even though he hung tris over a chasm. I still think he's AWESOME!

Will is smart, brave, and awesome!

What a great character! Natalie Prior is the definition of brave and selfless. She sacrificed herself for her daughter and was such a beautiful, pure character. R.I.P. Mrs Prior.

I love Lynn! She is my favorite female character! She is cold at first but is very LOYAL and KIND. She was great to Tris and loved Marlene. Her love strong was tragic. Her ending was I timed and unnecessary! RIP LYNN

Lynn is amazing. She's just such a complex girl, but she's got a heart beneath it all and that's why I love her.

I relate to her on so many levels. I wish she had a bigger role in the films!

Tori is like, the cool mom in the series. She's an adult, a daredevil, and not afraid to take risks. She is badass!

She is queen! I love her hawk and I love the meaning behind it even more!

How on earth is Edward above Caleb and Peter he was in the first half of the book

Cara is totally the most underrated character in the trilogy. She was SO SMART, she betrayed her faction to help Tris and helped save her life, AND was a leader of the Allegiant. Completely underrated, best character in a series of boring characters.

Cara is the perfect example of what a true Erudite is! She's very smart, but not vain. She never really judged anyone's beliefs and she's funny for an having an Erudite mind. She's the most forgiving character in the entire book.

17th!17th! Marlene is number one. She loves muffins, is funny, and a good friend and light hearted! She had the most brutal death by far! Even worse in the movies because no one wanted to catch her! She is so underrated and deserved more! Vote for Marlene please!

I think Marlene should be higher. She ranked 4th in initiation, is a great friend, is funny, is brave, and you can never go against muffins.

She was amazing and I loved how she was so confident and childish. One of my favourite characters for sure. Plus she likes muffins!

To be honest I still like Caleb, he's not my favourite though. He may be a traitor now but who knows what's going to happen in Allegiant

He's loyal to his faction, he's smart, and he followed the Abnegation guidelines even though he didn't believe in them. Also, he is brave and willing to try new things. When you call him a traitor for what he did to Tris, think about what position he was in, and the decisions he had to make. CALEB PRIOR IS THE BEST!

My favourite male character. My favourite female is Susan. She's so underrated

Jeanine is an incredible villain. She isn't pure evil just for the sake of it, and isn't dumb like most of the villains in books/movies. She's extremely smart, ambitious, cunning and determined and would do ANYTHING to achieve her DAMN goals. Seriously, you gotta admit that Roth did a fantastic job at writing her character. Also, Kate Winslet is THE perfect actress to play the cold-hearted Jeanine Matthews.

Even though she did some bad things, it was for a good reason. At the start of divergent, it was a Utopia. Abnegation was going to give information that would destroy the Utopia, but Jeanine tried to save it. Jeanine also has a high IQ score, she's very smart!

The best. Should be higher on the list

He was actually really cute. But of course Veronica Roth had to kill him off.

Johanna will keep peace, and she's willing to fight for it!

She's great - okay, her views may be a little controversial, but her relationship with Zeke and her friendship with Tobias is beautiful.
