The Top Ten Doctor Who Series 6 Episodes
The episode were we find out exactly who River Song is! "Demons Run When A Good Man Goes To War". The Doctor assembles an alien army to fight the Battle of Demons Run.
This episode is just amazing. We find out who River is at the end, we have a cliffhanger and plot twists toy with our emotions every single second. What more could you want from a Doctor Who episode?
The doctor, Amy, Rory, River, Strax, Vastra, Jenny, Danny boy this episode has most of the people we met throughout the 11th doctors era so far up to that point, We find out who river really is which is a twist I didn't see coming, the doctor is a joy to watch in this episode as the contrast between him in the beginning of the episode and the end is wonderful and it sets up a cliffhanger for the second part of series 6 (if only the second part actually had good episodes.) - TheGamingLad
My favourite characters: The Doctor (Duh! ), Rose, Martha, Donna, Amy, River, Rory, Astrid, The Master (I don't know why. I just like him), and Clara. Also, Jack and Sarah Jane. I basically like all the companions! Yeah! :) The Whoniverse Rocks!
That isn't all the companions. You forgot some Classic Who companions. - FrozenHatingPokefan
So. Darn. Incredible. Best plot IN ALL OF NEW WHO. Forget about series 6, this is my all-time favorite! (This applies to Day of the Moon, too! )
This episode was wondrously dark. It sent chills running down my spine. Without question - terrifying. So why did I laugh so hard?
Answer: because of River. This is Alex Kingston at her best. Gone is the River Song that caused certain fans to cheer when she was in peril; in her place is a companion worth a standing ovation. Her flirty dialogue with the doctor was a major highlight.
In review: I laughed. I cried. Watch it - and love it!

By following a Time Lord distress signal, the Doctor endangers Amy, Rory and the TARDIS.
The TARDIS goodbye scene was prefect and for the first time, I shipped the Doctor and the TARDIS, as they (along with WHOUFFLE) are the best pair ever.
Amy's trapped in a quarantine facility for victims of an alien plague. Can Rory save her?
Fantastic episode it would be higher on the list!
This is one of my all favourite episodes!
The Doctor fights an alien invasion dating back to the beginnings of human civilization.
