Edgiest Looking Pokemon

There's a bunch of awesome pokemon out there, and some pretty awesome designs as well. However, some of these designs, as awesome as they are, can be a little too edgy at times. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike any of these pokemon, i'm just talking about there designs. Here are just a few pokemon designs that look really, really edgy.

1 Kabutops Kabutops, known in Japan as the same name, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Spikes on back? Check. Death stare? Check. Blade arms? Check. Everything about this guys screams edgy.

2 Scizor Scizor, known in Japan as Hassam, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. It is a Bug - Steel type, and was first introduced in the Gen 2 games (Gold and Silver) in 1999.

Just look at it. Those claws speak for themselves. Just gets even edgier looking when it mega-evolves.

3 Giratina Giratina is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Created by Ken Sugimori, Giratina first appeared in the video games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, but gained prominence in the sister game, Pokémon Platinum, which it was made the mascot of.

Given that Giratina is pokemons version of Satan, it would have to have a pretty edgy looking design, and Gamefreak didn't disappoint.

4 Gallade Gallade, known in Japan as Erureido, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Notice a common trend on this list. Many edgy pokemon designs tend to have arms as weapons. And of course, that death-stare that just makes it look so much edgier.

5 Yveltal Yveltal is a fictional creature in the Pokemon Franchise. Introduced in the 6th gen, Yveltal is a legendary Dark/Flying type Pokemon, and is the mascot of Pokemon Y. A pokemon that's a literal representation of death, having a black and blood-red colour scheme, and 3 wings that are shaped like claws, it's safe to call this machine of murder edgy looking

6 Darkrai Darkrai, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Being a pokemon of fear and the ability to put people to sleep and give them nightmares, Darkrai comes with an equally edgy design

7 Houndoom

Given that it has the word "doom" in it's name, it would have to look kind of edgy, and with that "skull amulet" around it's neck, you have to agree that it looks pretty edgy.

8 Genesect Genesect, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

If the robotic body and arms that look like they could be used as wepaons wasn't enough, it has a cannon on it's back!

9 Lycanroc Lycanroc (Japanese: ルガルガン Lugarugan) is a Rock-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It evolves from Rockruff starting at level 25. The form it takes upon evolving depends on the game it was evolved in and the time it was evolved.
10 Absol Absol is a fictional creature in the Pokémon franchise. It was first introduced in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. It later gained a Mega Evolution in Pokemon X and Y and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

11 Beedrill

Again, weapon hands. Putting a weapon on something just makes it look 10 times edgier, and it doesn't help that in the anime, Beedrill is something that people tend to be constantly scared of.

12 Zoroark Zoroark is a dark type Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game freak's Pokémon franchise. It evolves from zorua at level 30.

A mascot of the Pokemon franchise, it's considered to be the most iconic character of all Pokemon species, as well as a major character in Japanese pop culture, due to its companionship with Ash Ketchum in the anime series. Pikachu has been featured in movies such as Pokemon Detective Pikachu as well as music videos - most notably Katy Perry's "Electric" in 2021.
