Best Emo Albums
Emo is a genre of music that is based around emotion AND IS NOT JUST HOW THE BAND LOOKS! The albums are ranked in their individual quality and not their overall influence on the genre.
The Black Parade is my favorite album of all time.
I really love My Chemical Romance and such, but they're not actually emo. SDRE on the other hand has kind of started emo and the album on itself was absolutely great and revolutionary

This is probably tied with Sunny Day Real Estate’s Diary for me. I think the guitar work on this album is very beautiful and dynamic, and that, combined with the very soft vocals, makes for a very singular, and great, emo experience.
I have never thought that Weezer were any where near Emo.
I wouldn't consider TOP an "emo band", but out of their 2 studio albums I think this one nudges out Blurryface
I see why Pinkerton could be considered as emo, but not Blue lol
This album is incredibly influential to the emo genre, but it's hard to really call this emo
The Newcomers
Though I'm in the minority, I think this album is better than the black parade. Before you disagree, listen to Thank You For The Venom, it's a straight bop.

This is my 2nd favorite MCR album after The Black Parade. It's also the album with the song "I'm Not Okay".
