Led Zeppelin was an English hard rock band formed in London in 1968 as the New Yardbirds. The group consisted of Robert Plant (Vocal), Jimmy Page (Guitar), John Paul Jones (Bass, Keyboard) and John Bonham (Drums) and was very much the child of Jimmy Page who even financed their first tour. He had tasted some previous success with The [original] Yardbirds and was friendly with some big names in rock. Page states it was Keith Moon of The Who that claimed the band could only go down, like a lead balloon -- thus prompting the iconic name of Led Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin are the gods of Classic Rock and Hard Rock. They have produced great musicianship and songs and were the biggest band of the 1970's. Some of their best songs are Stairway to Heaven, Kashmir, When the Levee Breaks and Black Dog. Some of their best albums are Led Zeppelin I, Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin IV and Houses of the Holy. They are my favourite rock band and band of all time.

My Chemical Romance is an American rock band from Jersey City, New Jersey, active from 2001 to 2013, and again from 2019 to present day. For much of their career, the band consisted of lead vocalist Gerard Way, guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero, bassist Mikey Way, and drummer Bob Bryar. A band formed by lead singer Gerard way after experiencing 9/11. They have it all; great vocals, beautiful and deep lyrics, I also love that they did not just sing "emo" music they did happier more upbeat songs like Danger days albumn. Literally anyone who listened to them would agree that their songs are original and will never get old. I may stop liking other bands but I feel My Chemical Romance will be with me forever. David Gilmour has an unrivaled sound, paired with Roger's Dark and melodic songwriting created a driving force in classic rock. That being said, when I think "epic" I think of Pantera. It's poetic and melodic, and also makes you just want to whip your hair and punch somebody. There is no such thing as cool without Pantera.
Blind Guardian is a German power metal band formed in the mid-1980s in West Germany. They are often credited as one of the seminal and most influential bands in the power metal and speed metal subgenres. Heavily influenced by Queen, they use the technique of overdubbing. They also incorporate large amounts of orchestral arrangements. Hansi Kürsch creates a huge choir effect by overdubbing his own voice multiple times in complex, overlapping harmonies. Thanks to overdubs and numerous backing vocals Blind Guardian stand out with a very dense sound. How are they not higher?!
