In a lifetime of songs listened to, this one is the best.
Everything in this masterpiece is epic - epic length (14:08), epic composition with many parts that get more intense, symphonic orchestration, epic story, and last but not least - mindblowing vocals from Hansi Kürsch with complex overlapping vocal harmonies creating a choir effect. Just amazing!

One of the most underrated songs of all time, like a modern symphony, of such beauty and grace. It might not be a classic like many other more famous epic songs, but to me, it is the most complex and beautiful of those songs.

I only don't like the song sample on here - it's not the original, it's a live version with abother singer. It's good for a live version but you know, the original studio version should have been on here.
