Top 10 European Pop Rock Songs
I noticed that European pop rock songs are less known than American and even Canadian pop rock songs so I made this list.Keep in mind that most of these music artists also played other genres and not every song by them is pop rock, meaning these music artists may have better or more popular songs but if these songs aren't pop rock, they can't be on this list.
I gave preference to songs with more rock feel. Why? Because the genre name is Pop ROCK and not rock pop. Pop Rock is rock with pop and not pop with a little bit of rock.
Roxette played the purest form of pop rock so don't be surprised they have several songs in the top 10.
Their songs are guitar-driven and you clearly hear the guitars (guitars speak rock) and songs often have strong guitar riffs and solos ("strong" for pop rock), vocals are rock vocals (i.e. with a slight rasp), and so on.

This song is usually considered power pop and not pop rock but honestly some Roxette songs are harder than this one and Roxette are labelled pop rock. This is the reason I added Hysteria by Def Leppard. If The Look by Roxette is pop rock, Hysteria is even more pop (rock) because it's softer.

This band and this song are currently very popular but I didn't put it very high because it's barely rock to me.
