Compared to older episodes, the personalities of the characters in modern day SpongeBob SquarePants have been exaggerated completely to the point of becoming annoying.

1 Mr. Krabs is more greedy

2 SpongeBob is more childish

Forever and ever

3 Patrick is more stupid

Yup. And it's to the point where it's not even funny anymore.

4 Mrs. Puff is more hateful toward SpongeBob

Yeah! Now she is insane

5 Squidward is more careless and miserable

6 SpongeBob is more clueless

7 Sandy is more of a brainiac

8 Plankton is less evil

This is more depreciation than exaggeration, but I wanted to add this to the list

9 SpongeBob is more annoying

I don't like Tom Kenny's new voice of SpongeBob. It's too squeaky and it just makes SpongeBob sound more irritating and childish than the audience loved him for.

Spongebob used to be a great character but now he’s whiny, annoying, and stupid.

10 Mr. Krabs is more evil
