One of the best albums to have ever come out of any sub-genre of metal. Night's Blood is a devastatingly magnificent track. Dissection as a band has left a huge imprint on the face of extreme metal. They've influenced heck of a lot of great extreme or blackened death metal bands that emerged during the late 90s, and their everlasting influence can be felt to this date. It's quite fascinating that the band members were just in/out of their teenage phase at the time of the album's composition - well, apparently most of the pioneering metal bands started their career pretty early on in their life, which reflects their immense passion and love towards making music, something that is seldom seen in modern times. A lot of emerging bands these days simply like to imitate existing bands rather than putting their skills to the test and innovating their sound or at least, inventing their own signature style.
