The Faction (1982 - 1985, 1989, 2001 - 2005, 2014 - Present) are a Hardcore Punk Band from San Jose, California. Amongst the original “Skate Punk” bands. All members are accomplished skateboarders, most notably bassist and guitarist Steve Caballero who rides professionally for Powell Peralta, Independent Trucks, and Vans and has been pro since 1980.

Note : If this band interests you or your looking for other original “Skate Punk” bands, besides The Godfather’s Big Boys and JFA, try Code Of Honor and Sick Pleasure who are also from the same area / scene as The Faction. I was going to make a list for Code Of Honor but I doubt iTunes carries it so I didn’t bother.
