6 He worked with the Houston-based astronaut Ronald McNair, who was also a sax player, and who played the sax on Jarre's "Rendez-Vous VI", recorded in the weightless environment of space

Ronald McNair was also supposed to play it live with Jarre at Jarre's concert in Houston 1986. But McNair died in the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster on 28 January 1986. R.I.P.
