Best Fake Band Names for Different Genres

cjWriter1997
This is my list #200.
Let's do something fun shall we?

In this list I want you guys to get creative. Make up a fake band name for a specific genre that you think would fit in well with the other bands of the genre.
Like for example, a fake Death Metal band name will probably use words that revolve on Death, Torture and Murder and a fake Hardcore Punk band name will probably use words that revolve around subjects like Politics, War, and Anger.

Have fun with this and come up with as many names as you can. I have made 10 myself to help get you a better grasp on what the concept of this list is.
Enjoy and get creative!

The Top Ten

1 Powerkiller (Heavy Metal)

I took Iron Maiden's Powerslave and Judas Priest's Painkiller to get a whole brand new Heavy Metal band. - cjWriter1997

2 Dark Diety (Black Metal)

Black Metal band names focus on religious and sinister themes, put them together and you got a sick Black Metal band name. - cjWriter1997

3 Everlasting Sunrise (Power Metal)

Power Metal band names are more fantasy oriented. This name fits that epic feel that many Power Metal bands have. - cjWriter1997

4 Bastard Sons (Hardcore Punk)

It's edgy, angry and just works well with the genre. - cjWriter1997

5 Eradicator (Thrash Metal)

Thrash Metal band names follow around similar subjects to that of hardcore punk. War, Politics, Religion etc. - cjWriter1997

6 Murals (Modern Prog Metal/Djent)

A lot of Prog/Djent style bands usual have one word band names that revolve around something artistic or spiritual. Murals fits with that whole artistic side of things. - cjWriter1997

7 Buried Crosses (Doom Metal)

Doom Metal has band names that revolve around a mix of depressive subjects and religious subjects. - cjWriter1997

8 Lyer (Nu Metal)

Nu Metal band names often have misspellings and numbers in their names. Many of them also are one word names such as Korn, Slipknot, Deftones etc.
This name is obviously a misspelling of the word Liar. - cjWriter1997

9 Frathaus (Skate Punk/Pop Punk)

Many Skate Punk and Pop Punk bands have very tongue in cheek and angsty names, like The Offspring or No Doubt.
This is an intentional misspelling of Frat House. - cjWriter1997

10 Decrepitude (Death Metal)

When I think of Death Metal, I think of blood, torment and death. A name like this would definitely fit with the genre. - cjWriter1997

The Contenders

11 Fatal Drop (Death Metal)
