As a Sonic fan myself, I was unable to see Sonic in the same light as I saw him as a kid. He’s always been loyal to me since I first liked him, but the fans made him look sexual and horrible. I like pokemon but the fanbase is pretty annoying. If you even say the slightest thing of their beloved "masterpiece" (dude, nothing is perfect or a masterpiece and It's all just based by your own personal preferences. Even I can't say my favourite, Madoka Magica is a masterpiece, even that anime has a high rating in MAL because I have to know others may dislike It) they will throw a tantrum at you. And they'll say that every other anime is terrible.

Cartoon Network shouldn't have a existential identity crisis whatsoever, CN having a identity crisis shortens the existence of the channel n network, in order for Cartoon Network to continue to thrive n survive is to declare its original series franchises as mascots, without mascots there is no survival, Cartoon Network has had more than enough chances n opportunities to evolve every introduced series franchises. Cartoon Network has to be obedient to its demographics, the more fanservice & more originals with fanservice Cartoon Network would eventually celebrate its 100th anniversary due to making prosperous investments, I often wonder who is pulling the strings behind the president of the Network to commit atrocities to maliciously cancel originals, anything without originals is investing in demise, Cartoon Network should have originals for each demographic even if some niches are more mature than others.
