The Top Ten

To be fair, it wasn't ruined by nostalgia, out side of Force Awakens which is a pure Nostalgia movie, which split its fan based half enjoyed the movie (those that didn't want to see something new in fear of it being ruined) and half that hated it because they wanted to see something new and interesting in the Star Wars universe and got a remake of a New Hope
But beyond that it was ruined by Disney rushing through making as many movies to make money as possible and rushed projects will almost always end in disaster. Take Solo, if this movie was made as a space heist movie not related to Star Wars it would have been one of the best movie made that year, but instead the tried to make an origin story while forgetting Han Solo's mythos

Star wars is trying to go mainstream when it comes to making a series that is targeted to a specific audience. Hence why we have Star Wars Resistance, which is a T.V. show aimed to appeal to a younger audience that has the absence of violence and maturity

No, it was destroyed by greedy filmmakers who decided to make money on nostalgia.

Do I even need to Explain this?

2 Disney The Walt Disney Company, commonly known as Disney, is an American diversified multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate headquartered at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California.

Before you Ask, No, I am not that TLK hater/KH Hater/Tails Fan you often run into in Movie Themed Lists. I Love Lion King, and Lion Guard Even. I haven't played anything Related to Kingdom Hearts, but it seems cool, and even though I Like Tails, I don't get all pushy about it. But Modern Disney Movies are cool too you know. And also, Twist Villains are NOT THAT BAD!

Most definitely, no one was asking for live action versions of all their Animated Movies, they were perfect all you could do was ruined it or make an ok movie that lacks the charm of the original.
Remakes only work if the advancement of movie technology would improve upon the outdated affects of the original.

Play on everyone's nostalgia for classic movies by remaking them in CGI/live action with "modern sensibilities" (read: more "politically correct"/SJW pandering), or putting classic characters into a hackneyed crossover and calling it a "sequel" to a movie not even ten years old yet.

Disney ruined themselves with nostalgia, really. They're trying to remake all their older movies. Jungle Book's remake was fine, but some others (cough)ALICE IN WONDERLAND(cough) absolutely SUCKED. I'm just hoping they stay away from Snow White.

3 Sonic Sonic the Hedgehog, trademarked Sonic The Hedgehog, is the title character and protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by SEGA, as well as numerous spin-off comics, five animated shows, and an animated OVA.

Wait are you just making a list of annoying fan-bases or a list about franchise that are ruin because people making these games, movies, etc. are making terrible games and movies etc to carter that nostalgia. I really have no clue, your comments make me believe it is the first one

I've heard that there are now some people hating Colors. COLORS! We've Reached a New Low People! And STOP ASKING FOR SONIC ADVENTURE 3!

Actually the whole franchise has been binding on nostalgia ever since Mania came out.

4 Super Smash Bros

They Used to be Fine, But now it's always just "Melee is So Much Better! It's Faster which means I can make combos that last so long that I can be the Only One to deal damage in the Entire Match! "

5 Yu-Gi-Oh! Yu-Gi-Oh! was aired from 2000 to 2004 in Japan, and 2001 to 2006 in the US. It continues where the Toei Anime Left off. When 10th grader Yugi Muto solves the Millenium Puzzle, Yami Yugi emerges, taking control of him to help his friends. In Duel Monsters, they mostly played children's card games because war does not exist.

Allow me to state the Logic of Yu-Gi-Oh fans. *Clears Throat* "It was so awesome how I could literally win the Game without Doing Anything if 5 Specific Cards were at the top of my Deck. I hate how I can now Win by at least actually doing something now." #NostalgiaBias.

6 Teen Titans Teen Titans is an American animated television series created by Glen Murakami, based on the DC Comics characters of the same name.

So You're Saying that an Edgy Sonic Character is Cringe, but you're totally fine with a Cartoon Network Show that has to be Edgy just because it's DC? What kind of Logic is That?

7 Spyro the Dragon Spyro the Dragon is the titular main character and protagonist of the Spyro video game series, including The Legend of Spyro.

The show revolves around a sea sponge called SpongeBob SquarePants and his adventures under the sea. The show is considered to be one of the best Nickelodeon and cartoon shows of all time.

Fun Fact: There are some Classic SpongeBob fans who HARRASSED kids just for liking the Newer Episodes.

9 Pokemon Pokémon, abbreviated from the Japanese title of Pocket Monsters and currently advertised in English as Pokémon: The Series, is a Japanese anime television series, which has been adapted for the international television markets. It was first broadcast in Japan on April 1, 1997, in the United States on September 8, 1998.

Yes, the Genwunners are Toxic, but the Reason why Pokemon is only #9 on the List is because the Genwunners don't really show up as much anymore. But still, those Genwunners are Jerks.

10 Terminator The Terminator (Known as the T-800, or Cyberdyne Systems Model 101) is the titular fictional autonomous cyborg from the Terminator franchise portrayed by both Arnold Schwarzenegger and numerous actor stand-ins digitally overlayed with Schwarzenegger's likeness. ...read more.
The Contenders
11 Mario Party

I can't ever go into the Mario Party fandom without finding someone saying "I hate the Car Mechanic Durr Hurr." It's as if they WANT to be all alone.

12 Nickelodeon Nickelodeon is an American basic cable and satellite television network launched on December 1, 1977, and is owned by Viacom through Viacom Media Networks and based in New York City.
13 Minecraft
14 Gundam
15 Jurassic Park

If the two latest dumb installments didn't have the word Jurassic in the title, most fans of those crummy films wouldn't even care about them. Dinosaur movies that are made for the Syfy channel are better than those 2 crummy Jurassic World films.

16 Cartoon Network Cartoon Network is an American basic cable and satellite television channel that is owned by the Turner Broadcasting System division of Time Warner.
17 Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Look, I like the series, but the people that are like “ugh read the manga you plebs” are really irritating. I don't consider myself connected to that series' fandom for that reason.

The original lineup was James Hetfield (Vocalist and Rhythm guitarist), Dave Mustaine (Lead Guitar), Lars Ulrich (Drums), Ron McGovney (Bassist). With their first two albums, Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning reaching underground success, their third effort, Master of Puppets has since become one of the most important heavy metal albums ever, as it became the first thrash metal album to be certified platinum. The title track has since become the band's most played song live. ...read more.
21 Spider-Man Trilogy
22 Fire Emblem

People insist "Awakening" and any game made after it is "trash" while acting like "Path of Radiance" is the greatest thing ever just because of its rarity and the fact it has a gay character in it.

23 The Transformers

Purists suck!

24 Crash Bandicoot
25 Metroid
