Best Fantasy Football Prospects for 2018

Summer is a time for hanging out outside, going to the beach, and of course, fantasy football drafts. This list is quite early, but as of now, these are the best fantasy football prospects of the 2018-2019 NFL Season.

The Top Ten

1 Todd Gurley Todd Gurley Todd Gurley II is an American football running back for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League.

Gurley was the reigning fantasy champion in 2017, racking up a whopping 319.30 fantasy points. He may just be the number one pick in most drafts, as he’s projected to garner up 275.19 points in 2018. Gurley is also a receiving threat, so that’s quite a bonus with drafting him. - PackFan2005

2 Antonio Brown Antonio Brown Antonio Brown is an American football wide receiver and punt returner for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He is often regarded as one of the best Wide Receivers in today's game in the NFL. Brown was selected 195th overall to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round.

He’ll most likely be the most popular fantasy wide receiver, but everyone better hope he doesn’t injure himself again. Despite missing a few games in 2017, he still managed 209.30 fantasy points, and being arguably the NFL’s best wide receiver, he’ll have a steady 2018 season. His projected points are 213.07 - PackFan2005

3 Alvin Kamara Alvin Kamara

I picked him up in the middle of the 2017 season, and he was well worth it. He was a steady back in 2017, producing 233.40 points. He’s expected to drop a point in 2018, projected at 232.32. Still, it’s only one point, and he’ll be a valuable asset if he stays healthy. - PackFan2005

4 Russell Wilson Russell Wilson Russell Carrington Wilson is an American football quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.

Considering Wilson accounted for nearly 100% of his team’s points in 2017, you really can’t ignore him. While he won’t score all his team’s points in 2018, he will still be a top fantasy quarterback, and he’s at 306.37 for projected points in fantasy. - PackFan2005

5 Le’Veon Bell Le’Veon Bell

Will his contract dispute do anything to his production in 2018? A lot of people don’t think so. He’s projected at 243.12 points in 2018, and he scored even more in 2017, at 256.60 fantasy points. He’ll be a weapon in anyone’s fantasy league in 2018. - PackFan2005

6 David Johnson David Johnson David Jerome Johnson Sr. is an American football running back for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played college football at Northern Iowa.

He was an enormous bust in 2017, after injuring his wrist in Week 1, and missed the rest of the season. Now, Johnson has high expectations for himself in 2018, and others do too. He’s projected at 237.41 fantasy points in 2018, and if you miss out on Todd Gurley, Johnson should be your other choice. - PackFan2005

7 Deshaun Watson Deshaun Watson

People were satisfied with Watson in fantasy last year until he tore his ACL. Then it’s off to the free agency to search for a less explosive quarterback. This year may be different. Watson is projected to get up to 332.35 fantasy points in 2018. He could be the first quarterback off most drafts, but this year, the qb market has gone down. That’s why there aren’t many quarterbacks on the list. - PackFan2005

8 Deandre Hopkins Deandre Hopkins DeAndre Rashaun Hopkins, also known as "Nuk," is an American football wide receiver for the Houston Texans of the National Football League. Hopkins was drafted 27th overall to the Houston Texans in 2013.

While he’s only projected to score 171.37 fantasy points in 2018, I think he’ll rise to the top with Deshaun Watson returning. - PackFan2005

9 Mike Evans Mike Evans Michael Lynn Evans is an American football wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. Evans was drafted 7th overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2014.
10 Aaron Rodgers Aaron Rodgers Aaron Charles Rodgers is an American football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.

Rodgers is regarded as the number one quarterback in fantasy this year, projected to score 326.67 points, second only to Deshaun Watson. He’ll bring you numbers in 2018. - PackFan2005

The Contenders

11 Kareem Hunt Kareem Hunt

Among other running backs, he’s projected to score 213.65 points, a large drop off from 2017’s total of 242.20. But still, he was explosive at times last season, and he’s worth it in the end. - PackFan2005
