Top 10 Fastest Cartoon Characters

From the vintage era of animation to contemporary times, speed has been a defining feature of many beloved cartoon characters. It's a testament to their quick thinking, their ability to get out of a jam, and, of course, their capacity to run at breakneck speeds, often against the laws of physics. These speedsters, from the roadrunner's maddeningly elusive maneuvers to the Flash's superhuman sprints, have not only made for great viewing but have also been integral to shaping the dynamics of the animated world.
The Top Ten
1 Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic the Hedgehog, trademarked Sonic The Hedgehog, is the title character and protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by SEGA, as well as numerous spin-off comics, five animated shows, and an animated OVA.

Sonic was able to break out of null space (basically the void) with no trouble at all, unlike Flash, who needs a lot of power and effort to travel between dimensions.

I think Sonic will win against Flash because in the comics, he ran so fast that he broke time and went to the future.

I think Sonic because he has the rings to travel anywhere he wants. I like Sonic. By Eva The Hedgehog.

2 Flash The Flash is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. His first appearance was in October 1956 and was created by Robert Kanigher. His main ability is super speed through the Speed Force and can run at speeds exceeding light.

Flash literally has his own unlimited source of energy and speed in the pocket dimension known as the Speed Force, which he generates with every step he takes. And that's just Barry Allen as the Flash, not to mention Wally West, who is currently the fastest Flash and one with the Speed Force.

Why is he not number 1? He's faster than Sonic by a million! He's almost at the speed of light! Meanwhile, Sonic is only at 700, which is lower than everyone on this list. Alexa also said so. Therefore, he's number one.

He can literally go through the Speed Force. He can go faster than the speed of light times a thousand if he wanted to.

3 Burter (Dragon Ball Z) Burter is an anime fictional character from the anime series, Dragon Ball Z, created by Akira Toriyama.
4 Road Runner

Very underrated. Once, he moved so fast he disappeared completely from the screen, without so much as a blur. That means he moved faster than the light from the sun to reflect off of him.

Definitely the fastest. He's so fast. He can easily make these other characters look like a sloth compared to him.

Have you seen this bird run? He ran faster than a rocket!

5 Dyspo (Dragon Ball)
6 Hit (Dragon Ball)
7 Speedy Gonzales Speedy Gonzales is an animated cartoon character in the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons.
8 Whis (Dragon Ball) Whis is an anime fictional character from the anime series, Dragon Ball Super, created by Akira Toriyama.
9 Saitama Saitama is the main protagonist of the webcomic and anime series One Punch Man, who could easily destroy a continent with one punch. He is bored with his extreme power. He is registered with the Heroes Association as a C-Class Superhero and is tasked to defend Z-City against Mysterious Beings.
10 Quicksilver Quicksilver is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in the comic book X-Men #4 and was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Quicksilver is a lot faster in X-Men than in the Avengers. But if you want to see how fast Quicksilver is, then just look up "Quicksilver mansion scene, X-Men Apocalypse."

Faster than anybody except Flash, Superman, Silver Surfer, and Reverse Flash.

The Contenders
11 Borsalino (One Piece)
12 Yoruichi Shihoin (Bleach) Yoruichi Shihoin is a fictional character in the Bleach manga series and its adaptations created by Tite Kubo.

She's faster than an average cheetah.

She should be higher than Sonic, I think.

17 Kaio-ken

Kaio Ken is a technique to multiply one's speed, strength, and senses. The fastest character should probably be Whis. He escorted Beerus across the full length of the universe in mere seconds when Earthlings made the most delicious food ever!

18 Isaac Netero (Hunter x Hunter)
19 Tails the Fox Miles "Tails" Prower is a fictional character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series, and the title character's best friend and sidekick.

Tails can fly almost as fast as Sonic can, flying just a little slower than Sonic, as shown in "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" in 1993.

Who put him on the list? That's stupid.

20 Shadow Shadow the Hedgehog is a character who appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by Sega. He is an artificially created black and red hedgehog whose hover shoes propel him at extreme speeds that rival those of Sonic.

His hover shoes allow him to go at super speed, and he can teleport with Chaos Control.

21 Knuckles the Echidna Knuckles the Echidna is a fictional character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a red anthropomorphic echidna who is determined and serious, but sometimes gullible. He has the ability to glide and climb up walls, and is a powerful fighter due to his spiked hands.

He protects the Master Emerald. If someone takes it, he's bound to go fast to get it back.

22 Godspeed
23 Chuck Chuck is the deuteragonist of the Angry Birds series of games created by Rovio Entertainment. He was introduced in 2009 as a member of the core flock. After his first appearance in "Poached Eggs," Chuck has become a very prominent character in multiple installments for the series.

A yellow, triangular-shaped bird who can move incredibly fast, to the point of even slowing down time. He is incredibly arrogant, narcissistic, dumb, and even possesses a hero complex at times, though he does have the flock's best interest at heart.

I choose him as, in the Angry Birds Movie 2, he slows down time, and in the Angry Birds Movie.

24 Wile E Coyote

In real life, coyotes are faster. Roadrunners only run up to 20 miles per hour while coyotes can run up to 43 miles per hour, making roadrunners easy prey, but it's a cartoon, so screw logic!

25 Korosensei (Assassination Classroom)
