1 John 3:16 - "For God so Loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that who ever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life."
The bible leaving out how many verses people believe there are, different depending on each version. The most accepted answer is 31,240 verses. So, this verse is the entire Bible leaving out 31,239 verses.
Of course this was going to be no. 1. I'm surprised though it only has 16% of the votes. I was expecting at least 40%.
I have repeated this to myself before.

18 Revelation 22:21 - "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen."
My favorite verse, and the closing of the Bible. Revelation 22:21 says it all. It sums up the 31,240 verses. It is essentially God's secondary message. (Primary being John 3:16.) - MaxAurelius
19 1 Corinthians 13:8 - "Love never fails."

My favourite Biblical verse, because it mentions all 3 Persons of the Holy Trinity.

24 1 Peter 4:6 - "For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit."
I hate it when people pass around the myth that Christians think that non-Christians will go to Hell. This verse proves otherwise.
25 St. Luke 1:48 - "For behold, from this day, henceforth, all generations shall call me Blessed."
