Favorite Danganronpa Pairings

This crap is not canon, get over it and stop harrassing Saiouma / Saimota / Saiibo / Sainaga / Saiiruma etc shippers. The writer himself said they're just great friends but of course you're so high and mighty you can contradict what the person who created both characters and their relationship said? And even if it was, so what? Do we have to worship Ruruyoi for the same reason?

Hot take: she's forceful, bratty and manipulative to him. Rewatch her love hotel suite event. She might be sweet as a friend to him, but once they'd date she'd reveal her true colours. So it's better they never date. He's better off without being forced to do things he isn't comfortable. Even most jerkish characters like Kokichi, Tsumugi respected his wishes more than she did. Even MIU was less forceful it was just one line at the end and sure Miu's was bad but Kaede spend the WHOLE event throwing fits over him not being her perfect white knight.

I remember really liking seeing them together but when I began worrying shuichi was the culprit I was like "dang it the ship is gonna die in chapter 1" but after Kaede provided evidence that it wasn't him I was relived... But then THAT happened.

I love this ship! For you all Saiouma shippers don't judge me. This is my favorite ship! This is a good ship because in Kaede's execution he reaches for Kaede and cries over her. I felt so sad when I saw that

These two are the example of a perfect couple. Their Ingame actions with each other are an example of a very close connection. After all, Kaede was the first person that Shuichi trusted. Kaede was always boosting up Shuichi’s confidence, and made him into a better person. I wish Kaede would’ve survived longer to see this relationship form even more.

I love this ship! Makoto is just a basic person, and Kyoko is an interesting character! ALso, I love how Kyoko was just chill through V1 lol

Best cannon ship to ever exist! best thing to come out of Danganronpa! This two are so perfect for each other! They are literally the saying,"Partners In Crime."

They were cute in Trigger Happy Havoc. They were a lot closer in the Danganronpa 3 anime.

Definitely my favorite pairing in the series. In my opinion, it didn't feel nearly as forced as some of the other pairings. The first game built up their relationship, and I believe that they canonically got together after the killing game ended! 🖤

I can see why they and I ship them. Chiaki was so great helper and partner for Hajime. She wants everyone to get out of the killing game. I'm sad about Hajime feel hopeless in Chapter 6 and Chiaki died as trailer though. They are kinda my favorite ship, but they are good ships in game.

Forced as hell. They act more like friends and any HinaNami "proof", you can attribute it to another pairing (blush in ftes? HinaPeko. Sad when she died? Sonia x Chiaki etc) in DR3 it seemed even more forced and borderline unhealthy. How is it he walks by all bruised up and all she cares about is her stupid games? I'm certain literally any other character from the 77th class would have cared more. Also, Hinata was a little OoC in the anime, he would've gone through with the Kamakura project because of his own insecurities, not for some apathic stone cold game obsessed chick.

I kinda feel like a lot people hate on this ship, which, I don't understand why. I mean, come on! They are so wholesome. And even though Hajime did this while he was Izuru, he literally cried when she died, like, come on!

Komahina fans are disgusting, and this ship is so cute and chiaki helps hajime with his self-esteem too and that's actually a really healthy relationship

Maki and Kaito deserved each other. They even admitted in the game (well, at least Maki did) that the liked each other! These two will always be endgame in my heart

You can't say they're not the cutest two ever, the way Kaito hugs Maki when he hears about Tsumugi's ghost theory. UGHHH.

Bro, these guys deserved better. They should have survived together.

Absolutely perfect! They care about each other so much, and NOT in a cheesy way. Peko changed Fuyuhiko forever and protected him all the way up to her death. Peko was the first person Fuyuhiko actually cared about and only wanted her as herself, not as a tool. It ends in tragedy, but is so beautiful.

Fuyuhiko didn't see Peko as a tool, he actually cared for her

I'm not really a fan of this pairing, but it is canon so. *shrug*

I don’t really ship them, because the whole Peko wanting to be a tool was weird. But I think Fuyuhiko really cares about her a lot

SAYAKA ISN'T A SNAKE. Technically Kyoko and Aoi are closer to that snake title more than her, Monokuma never said much of anything about what would happen after a murder while she was alive, she likely got desperate to leave so she tried to frame Makoto. I still prefer Naegiri over this ship but I think this ship is cute, one more thing, why do people call Sayaka the snake while Aoi almost got the surviving Danganronpa 1 cast killed and Kyoko threw Makoto under the bus. I'm not even getting started on any of the other games and series.

I actually really started to ship this pairing while seeing playthroughs of Danganronpa 1. Yes, I know she lied to him and tried to frame him for murder, but that's not her fault. Monokuma was the one who showed everyone those motive videos and made her drive insane. If it weren't for that, she never would've done what she did. Why can't so many people understand that you should hate the game, not the player. Especially the one who started it all, being Junko and Monokuma. It's really broke my heart when I found her being the first victim. She was so beautiful and innocent, and not to mention had childhood memories with Makoto. I was really hoping she would be an important female role as Makoto's assistant throughout the entire game, and the two later grow feelings for each other. It's obvious that they each had a crush on each other before the killing game, and looked like such an adorable couple. This is a very cute ship! In the love sweet event, Kokichi backs off when Shuichi felt uncomfortable which is very nice of him. In Kokichi's free time events, Shuichi helps Kokichi's hand when it was hurt and feeds him! And Kokichi did confess his feeling to him sooo... :] And when Which I said Kokichi will always be alone other multiple fan translators have said policy is alone because of his actions which is a little different. 'u' When I saw Kokichi's white board, this ship turned from great to AMAZING! This ship is 10/10 in my oppinion.=)

I'm pissed this isn't higher. Kokichi has confirmed feelings for Shuichi and Shuichi (might hate him) but he still wants to get to know Kokichi better!
