Top 10 Favorite Freddy Krueger's Films

The Top Ten
1 A Nightmare on Elm Street

The original, the introduction of Freddy and all of the Nightmares. I mean, you gotta love Robert Englund, really people. REMAKE IS CRAP ON THE BOTTOM OF MY SHOE! ROBERT ENGLUND IS THE ONLY FREDDY, ALWAYS WILL BE!

By far the best because it introduced us to Freddy. Wes Craven showed us that the impossible can still frighten you.

The original will always be the best nightmare on elm street movie and my favorite horror movie

"I'm your boyfriend now, Nancy."

Classic, just classic.

2 A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 - Dream Warriors

I apologize for an earlier comment where I asked a dumb question. You can figure it out. But anyway, yes, this is up there because of course, Wes Craven directed it. And you know when you get a Freddy movie from Wes Craven, it is gonna be good.

Such a good film I can watch it over and over again and not get bored! Also has the best quote! "Welcome to prime time b"

Is this the one where if you die in your dream, you die in real life? Because I thought that was the fourth one. Not sure. Oops.

A fun installment to the series. A major revival after the it's horrendous predecessor.

3 Wes Craven's New Nightmare

I lover the creative spin Wes et al put on the storyline. This was the "period" ending of the series.

Creative movie that brings a new taste to Wes Craven's Freddy.

TOO LOW! Should be number three at least.

The best Freddy movie

4 Freddy vs. Jason

This movie was a blessing from god! Freddy and Jason, together! It could've been better, but at least it happened.

Freddy Vs Jason was a great action/horror film
two of my favorite horror slashers clash

Freddy should have killed Jason instead it went the opposite way.

There should be more movies like this

5 A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)

There's only gonna be one Freddy Krueger. And that's Robert Englund. He is the best. Original's always better.

The spooks and scares weren't there as they were for the original. Another example that proves "You can't beat the original".

People are so stupid the original is not always best you know I like the remake more the original another reason why I hate grow ups they always think the original is best I hate this generation

Love it creepy and great I love it give a 10/10 one of the best remakes it's awesome

6 A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 - Freddy's Revenge

Many people do not like this one or say, "eh, it was okay" but this is easily one of my favorites. Just imagine you were Jesse. Now how do you feel?

I'm honestly not a fan of this one. I believe it was just wasn't following the flow of the other movies. Definitely one of my least favorites.

Known mostly for it's homosexual innuendos, this sequel killed Freddy. It's attempt for creativity is respected, but it fell flat.

7 A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 - The Dream Master

Yeah, the only one I saw--well a little of the third one, but still-- scared the flying crap outta me. Loved it.
And the scary thing is that I had a dream with Freddy in it where he almost killed me... Oh no

OK maybe it wasn't the best but Alice is my favorite character in the whole series. The final fight scene in deserted church was superb

This movie was probably the last Freddy film that was watchable. It had it's moments, but nothing memorable.

8 Freddy's Dead - The Final Nightmare

Wow I am degrading, I couldn't watch Freddy die I loved him so much. Love the way he kills Spencer. He is awesome. In all of the movies. Robert Englund will always gonna be the only Freddy, by the way. The remake made him look like an alien.

Much anticipated film, as it signaled the untimely death of Freddy. Or so we thought.

Was a good movie

9 A Nightmare on Elm Street 5 - The Dream Child

Sadly, this is what Robert labeled as his least favorite. I really like all of them, but this one still wasn't the greatest.

Definitely believe this one should have been at least number 4.

This one was a lot better than Freddy's dead

This is one of the best.
