Favorite Playable Characters in Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door
How about some reasons why you like the Yoshi better? Like I'm going to list some reasons why Vivian is better.
1: Most of Yoshi's attacks only do one point of damage
2: Vivian has a Fiery Jinx attack which does a good amount of damage AND pierces defense
3: Vivian also has Veil, which helps you hide from strong attacks and is useful for the final boss
4: Vivian also has Infatuate, which is also useful and confuses all enemies.
The Yoshi is still awesome, but Vivian has to be my favourite partner.
Vivian is fantasitc. She has strong motivations and is heavily relatable for some people. I think Bobbery is better but Vivian is almost as good. Besides she can prevent you from getting damaged in battle, enough said
Yay! Finally this is higher than Peach! Vivian is awesome! She is the best PMTTYD partner ever! Peach just makes me want to take a gun out and shoot myself in the face!
Fiery Jinx for the win, veil is godsend in the shadow queen fight her other moves are great and I just like her.
Great character. I feel bad for the Baby Yoshi though. I know that the Baby Yoshi volunteered and all, but still! Born into a FIGHTING LEAGUE!
I'm voting against Vivian who's my close second choice for a paper Mario sidekick not just for this game but for the entire series but The Baby Yohsi is my favorite. I got a blue one and he was just awesome. I love his personality and how he idolizes you throughout the game, even going as far as calling you Gonzales throughout the entire Game full of adventures. Although Vivian had the most character development and is a close second like Is aid before Yoshi has always been my favorite and always will, be.
I love just having Baby Yoshi by my side to move faster outside of battle because of the heck of it. You can also name him which I love. Excellent in battle as well. Píeron is one of the best
In a PM: TTYD band, Goombella would be the lead guitarist, Madame Flurrie would be the lead singer, Koops would be the pianist, Baby Yoshi is the saxophonist, Vivian is the drummer, Ms. Mowz is the keytarist & Admiral Bobbery is the DJ. Also, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door sucks! And isn't this game supposed to be called Paper Mario: The Millennium Old Door or some other full-sentenced title? Hell yeah! I mean, what's the point of playing this crappy game? Super Paper Mario is much better! Seriously, guys! Look into your heart & vote for Super Paper Mario over Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door!
Not that big of a fan of her. No really cool powers, just explains where you are, weak attacks. Definitely my least favourite partner
Goombella is perfect on the drums, Mario is perfect as the lead guitarist, Koops on the DJ, with Madame Flurrie as the pianist, Yoshi on the sax, Vivian on the guitar, Ms. Mowz on the DJ & Admiral Bobbery on the tuba.
Admiral Bobbery always has been my favorite partner in the game. He's a badass looking bob-omb sailor with a very tragic backstory. Bobbery also has the most HP of all partners and his attacks are very powerful making him an excellent choice for battle. I think Vivian is WAY overrated.
7th?! Come on! I love how he always acts like an old sailor guy, and his attacks are very powerful! Vivian is my favorite in terms of personality, but in battle, this guy's the way to go!
Bobbery at #5? Below Goombella? What? In my opinion he should be first. While Baby Yoshi is the best to play as, this one has the most emotional backstory and best in battle so I think he should be first
You can't hate a character for powerful attacks! Bob-Ombs for the win! Admiral Bobbery is a godsend!
I have somewhat of a soft spot for Koops. He is excellent for attacking ground enemies, has some of the best motivations and is quite relatable. I think Bobbery, Vivian and Baby Yoshi are better but this guy's in fourth place
Such a usefull partner, and so powerful. You can also use the peril badge, and get on to 1 hp, and use this shell defense move to portect Mario while geting 5 additinal attack points.
I like how he's the lead, without him, only Luigi could do the job, but Mario is way more fun to control and lead.
Princess Peach is a major character in the Mario Bros. Franchise. She is the lead female of the The Mario franchise. She is usually the character who needs saved in most Mario Games, but also has appeared as a playable character in the Main-Series Mario Games, including Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Run, and even starred in her own game, Super Princess Peach for the Nintendo DS. She has appeared in many spinoff series, too, including Mario and Sonic Olympic Games, the Mario Kart series, the Mario Party series, Mario Sports Games, the Super Smash Bros. Series, and many more. Screw her! Princess Daisy is much better than this cowardly wannabe who is Princess Peach Toadstool. Besides, she wasn't useful. Princess Peach is not supposed to let herself be kidnapped by anyone. Or she'll be grounded big time.
She's good at getting information for Mario, but she's notas good as the other partners or Bowser.
