Went whale watching on Memorial Day. Saw a pair of Blue Whales traveling together. First time in my life I've seen a Blue Whale. The bigger of the two was estimated at 80 ft. It was an awesome and magnificent sight. It inspired me to make this list.

They ARE dolphins, moron. Dolphins like bottlenose dolphins, pantropical spotted dolphins, common dolphins, etc., are also considered toothed whales. Still, they're not TRUE whales, and same goes for orcas as well as THEY'RE NOT considered true whales either. DO your research, like that guy you responded to told you.

It doesn't matter guys. But the whales and dolphins both have different tails. Didn't you even think of that?

Orcas are dolphins, not whales. Do your research.

3 Fin Whale
4 Sperm Whale
5 Beluga Whale The beluga whale or white whale is an Arctic and sub-Arctic cetacean. It is one of two members of the family Monodontidae, along with the narwhal, and the only member of the genus Delphinapterus.

Belugas are so adorable, they look like marshmallows.

6 Humpback Whale The humpback whale is a species of baleen whale. One of the larger rorqual species, adults range in length from 12–16 m and weigh about 36,000 kg.
7 Grey Whale
8 Narwhal The narwhal is a unique and elusive cetacean found in Arctic waters. It is instantly recognizable by the long, spiral tusk that extends from the upper jaw of males, which can grow to lengths of over 8 feet. This tusk is actually an elongated tooth and is used for various purposes, including communication, sensing changes in the environment, and possibly even for hunting. Narwhals have a mottled grayish-brown skin and are well adapted to life in icy waters. They often travel in groups and feed primarily on fish and squid. Their elusive behavior and remote habitat make them a subject of fascination and scientific study.
9 Pilot Whale
10 Bowhead Whale
The Contenders
11 Pygmy Sperm Whale
12 Sei Whale
13 Bryde's Whale
