61 Big Brother and the Holding Company Big Brother and the Holding Company Big Brother and the Holding Company is an American rock band that formed in San Francisco in 1965 as part of the same psychedelic music scene that produced the Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Blue Cheer, and Jefferson Airplane.

Hello? I don't see Janis Joplin anywhere on this list and that's a problem. Honestly she was the most influential female artist of the hippie movement!

Sham she is one of the pioneers of female singers. Every female on this list owe something in some way to her.

HELL, dis deserves the number 1.

62 Headpins Headpins Headpins are a Canadian rock group, founded as a side project in the late 1970s by then Chilliwack members Ab Bryant and Brian MacLeod.
63 UnSaid Fate
64 Sirenia

Sirenia is an all-time favorite of mine. Their music and writing is beautiful. I think both of the singers that they've had are great, so people shouldn't diss either one of them. I can barely even decide my favorite album by them; however, I definitely can decide on my favorite song by them...

This band made me change my opinion about metal and all it's subgeners.

65 Hey Monday Hey Monday Hey Monday is an American pop punk band from West Palm Beach, Florida, formed in 2008. The band is on a hiatus as of December 2011. They released their debut album Hold On Tight in 2008, which produced the singles "Homecoming" and "How You Love Me Now." The album was followed up with their 2010 EP Beneath more.

Even though these guys have broken up now, they are still one of the best pop punk bands out there. Cassadee Pope is highly underrated and has actually sung back-up vocals on more than one All Time Low song.

Brilliant band, talented lead singer, highly underrated

66 Marmozets

So much musical potential, their experimental musical style is just amazing and Becca is ace, literally going to blow up with their next release

These are amazing and should be bigger and known!

Love shes voice

67 Dreamkiller

Incredible sound with tight harmonies and blazing guitars! Sounds like Sevendust meets 80's rockers on Broadway. Haha Love this band!

This band is unbelievable live! Christy Johnson can sing her butt off!

This band is so kickass! Definitely one of the best rock bands out there!

68 Fit for Rivals

I LOVE FFR! Renee's voice is so unique, unlike the pop-y sounding girl voices of today, which are mostly auto tuned and enhanced. The song writing is all original, done by the band themselves, and the actual instruments are real, and sound great. What an awesome band. Should definitely be in the top 10.

Oh my god! Just discovered these, Renee Phoenix is a beast what a vocal and the drums are amazing

69 Devilskin

Reasonably new band, leave most of this list for dead. "Little Pills" and "Never see the light" are incredible, as is everything else on 'We Rise'

We may not have Arch Enemy or Halestorm but we do have Devilskin and this is a band you need to see live to realise just how good these guys really are.

Best Kiwi rock band in decades, (unlike Lorde they are actually rock... )

She has the "voice". Love it.

These girls definitely belong on this list!

"World's Only Female Tribute to Iron Maiden"
I saw the Ramonas on the list (female tribute to the Ramones), and figured The Iron Maidens should be on the list, too.
Very talented musicians that do a very respectable cover of Iron Maiden. - Strikh

73 Siouxsie and the Banshees Siouxsie and the Banshees

I love siouxsie siouxsie, I'm only 13 but 80's goth bands are my thing

74 Doll Skin

This all female band based out of Arizona has an energy and passion that comes out of the speakers and commands that you pay attention. This band plays a mixture of rock, pop and punk that really gels and becomes infectious. - sr222

You could say they're this generations Runaways, but I honestly think they're better than that.
saw them in concert, and they were quite good. Lots of fun, spirited, and talented.
Meet & Greet afterwards, and they were very nice.
