She's the only older woman voice I don't get tired of. So dramatic and fresh and charisma. I can't explain her voice

Amazing highs and unbelievable lows. Truly an under rated voice.

166 Judy Garland Judy Garland Judy Garland, born Frances Ethel Gumm (June 10, 1922 – June 22, 1969) was an American singer, actress, and vaudevillian. The American Film Institute named her 8th greatest female star of classic American cinema. She's also the mother of actress and singer Liza Minnelli.

LEGENDARY. What a voice and what control. The young starlets of today could learn a thing or two by studying Garlands voice.

Bb7 is her highest vocal range. Just check her videos on YouTube. Shes the only female lead in the quintet acapella group pentatonix.

169 Jennifer Holliday

The original Dreamgirls' 'Effie' on Broadway. Jennifer Hudson was amazing in the movie, but look up Jennifer Holiday on YouTube; you'll be flabbergasted!

170 Lisa Gerrard

Why bother writing. Listen, a list without lisa is just silliness.

171 Lynn Gvnn

Her vocals are powerful and passionate and she performs soaringly in her band, PVRIS.

175 Alanis Morissette Alanis Morissette

This Powerhouse definitely deserves to be in the top 20. This Queen of rock (or pop rock) is not just an icon but she's the unique voice of a generation. Her vocal range is pretty impressive too as she uses her voice as an instrument.
She's also one of the best lyricist in the music industry and her debut album/masterpiece "Jagged Little Pill" is still ranked as the second best selling album of all time by a female artist (behind Shania Twain's Come on Over-- and some may argue that the first is Whitney' s The Bodyguard but a movie soundtrack does not count as a solo album).
She is one of a kind with a unique beautiful voice.

178 Colbie Caillat

Colbie Caillat is very underestimated. Her songs actually have meaning unlike others and her voice is smooth as silk. Every time they send chills down your spine. There are all the other singers that everyone says is so good but Colbie is what real music sounds like. I was shocked to see her not on the list but realized that no one would think of her despite her talents. Her music is very inspirational along with her music videos unlike other artists that just show them dancing and having fun showing how rich they are. They are meaningful and make you tear up like Try or are sweet like Never Told You. All of her songs have crazy acoustic and is very soothing. She has a great image for younger girls watching her and shows you don't need makeup to be beautiful. She is very real unlike everybody else and stands out on the most elegant way. She puts a lot of effort into her music and when she sings it.

179 Keyshia Cole Keyshia Cole Keyshia Cole is an r&b diva who was popular in the mid 2000's with songs like "Love", "Heaven Sent", "I Remember" and "Let It Go." Keyshia's r&b is known for it's 'hood' edge to it, and a lot of this is due to one of her biggest inspirations being Tupac Shacur.
