104 Giant Lantern Festival Pampanga

The Giant Lantern Festival is an annual festival held in December (Saturday before Christmas Eve) in the City of San Fernando in the Philippines. The festival features a competition of giant lanterns. Because of the popularity of the festival, the city has been nicknamed the "Christmas Capital of the Philippines".

These Giant Lanterns were anchored abroad being the largest lanterns in the world ( Guiness Book of World Records, succesfully made a lantern as tall as a 10th floor building) Participants on the said festival creates lantern nowadays measuring 40ft.

111 Meguyaya Festival of Upi, Maguindanao

Meguyaya, a Teduray term for thanksgiving for the bountiful harvest, is an annual festival celebrated every December. The festivities incorporate street dancing competition depicting tri-people culture, Teduray and Muslim and Christian Culture. Other activities includes the Cultural Nights, Local Government Unit Night, Ginoong Meguyaya male pageant, trade fair and Maisan Na. This is an activity in which a long stretch of grillers are placed by the roadside where everyone enjoys roasting corns, a symbol of togetherness and feasting.
