Best Fictional Universes
Basically I just want to see what universe is generally considered the best. So, whether it be books, movies, video games, comics, etc, this list is to determine the most popular universe of all time.
This is such an elaborate, appealing, and diverse universe that I feel a rush of longing and pleasure throughout my body whenever I watch one of the movies. It is truly stunning.
Not even close. The size and world-building are ridiculous. I'm probably biased too, and I don't know that many others on here, but Star Wars just seems a league above the rest.

Obviously... Who wouldn't want to live in Middle-earth? Laugh out loud.
A masterpiece of world-building.
How is this number 8? How? Seriously? The amount of detail in the universe of Harry Potter isn't even touched on in the movies, so read the books. Seriously, the small things make these books, and it's definitely a place I'd want to live.
The perfect balancing act between realism and fantasy.
It has a lot of history and facts but also humor and good moral depth.
The Elder Scrolls feels more real than any other fantasy world, with conflicting stories and unaccounted events making the world far more believable.
I'm the only alchemist in Skingrad. Not much business here, but I can't go back to Morrowind. It's just like anywhere else in the Empire. By the way... do you happen to know what the fine is here in Cyrodiil for necrophilia? Just asking.
While I love both Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, I just thought that The Elder Scrolls is a serious, more mature world (and damn, they make some awesome games!).
The Newcomers
Although it has a lot of pain and destruction, Marvel would be awesome to live in. Imagine all the awesome people you could meet and stuff you could do. It is also better than DC because of how large and cleverly thought out it is.
DC has a rich history of multiverse building. Since the day they discovered superheroes, they have led comics, animations, games, and shows and continue to do so!
Obviously, DC is the greatest of all. No one is near it. Whoever thinks that Marvel is better, just look at the copied character. Marvel has no creativity of its own.
The beautiful art and quality of the comics, animations, shows, and games of DC Comics are unrivaled!
Warhammer 40,000 starships have the power to blow up star systems. The demons are the pure incarnation of chaos in physical form. The average foot soldier has the brute power to rip up tanks with his bare hands. The Necrons are immortal robots. Whatever Superman, Goku, or Saitama can do, there are millions like them in Warhammer 40,000.
This is literally the most badass, over-the-top universe ever created.
