The beginning of the magic of the Harry Potter series. It may not be flawless but it provides the perfect start for one of the greatest fiction franchises ever. Sorcerer's or Philosopher's Stone is also a classic that will stand the test of time.

A lot of you are thinking this was a single movie. And it really should have been. But in the 80s, somebody made a bunch of unnecessary sequels and an even more unnecessary remake in the 90s. Therefore, it counts as the only good movie in the franchise.
