He's one of the big Montoya flamenco dynasty but his uncle, the acclaimed Ramón Montoya, refused to pass on his skills. And the young boy Carlos had to teach himself. Carlos had the last laugh though because by the age of 14 he became better than his uncle.
Carlos had lightning fingers and played at unbelievable pace.
