Biggest Winners of the 2018 NFL Draft

When you know you have the right pieces in place, and that you found what you need, that must mean these 10 teams have done well this year. I will go more in depth on why on up coming blog posts.
The Top Ten
1 Denver Broncos The Denver Broncos are an American football team based in Denver, Colorado. The Broncos compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

My biggest winners of the entire draft... is the mile high all mighty Denver Broncos, John Elway played everything out brilliantly seeing what mistakes other gm's would do Browns took an overreached Corner instead of Bradley Chubb the best defensive prospect of this draft Chubb, and Miller oh that looks like a tough pair to defend against. At first I didn't get the Courtland Sutton move until remembering oh yeah Cody Latimer was not really a miracle spark plug #3 Wide out they hoped for... his freakishly tall, and could be a difference maker for Case Keenum. Even better they addressed getting a tail back to put pressure off of Case Keenum in Royce Freeman who a lot of people on here suggests was extremely undervalued in the draft over other tail backs chosen over him, I do like the Viadom pick from Boston College maybe not gonna be as good as Talib, but next to Chris Harris Jr. that orange crush is getting some young inexperienced guys to learn fast in that secondary. My one big ...more

2 New York Giants The New York Giants are a professional American football team located in the New York metropolitan area.

Oh man Giants hit some straight up gold in this draft from taking the ''generational back'' to providing that with protection, and than take some trench depth on defense as well as a backup quarterback late which is unlikely to to take Eli's starting job anytime soon. While they probably won't get better right away... the New York football Giants are int he right direction of rebuilding in a future to look forward to this process.

3 Baltimore Ravens The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ravens compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference North division.

The farewell season for the great Ozzie Newsome who has given Baltimore 2 super bowls in his legendary career as GM. This was a very up, and down roller coaster draft with a bit of huh to great selection building in the future case where they took Lamar Jackson at 32. You got another steal in Orlando Brown this tall tackle who had a bad combine fit right in with his father playing on the same team sounds like Baltimore royalty to me. I felt this was a draft that really was given its all, and that if all these new Flacco has needs up helping than Newsome deserves another hall of fame inductee as the GM for Baltimore.

4 Chicago Bears The Chicago Bears are a professional American football team in Chicago, Illinois. The Bears compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division.

I really like this draft from Da Bears than I did last year, you didn't need to overreach for anybody in this draft they got what they needed without panicking. A lance Briggs like stud in Roquan Smith, a steal center in James Daniels (who may rotate into guard apparently), and also the fact they gave Mitchell Trubisky an extra weapon at receiver in Miller made me Bears won big in term of the first two days they did a really good job.

5 Indianapolis Colts The Indianapolis Colts are an American football team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Colts compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division.

I like the strategy by the Colts in this draft going after big body players that can fit from both sides of the football to then add in some extra weapons for ''If'' Andrew Luck returns to the field in time than lookout this could be a sleeper team.

6 Washington Redskins The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. In 2020, Washington after 87 years got rid of the Redskins trademark due to it being labeled racist to native culture. It was named the Washington Football Team until February 2022, when the team was renamed the Washington Commanders.

Washington had a very sneaky good draft in my estimation while Payne was a bit of a reach he'll help compliment Jonathan Allen in the defensive line stopping the run in pursuit of any incoming quarterback. Then you get what I think was one of the biggest steals of this entire draft grabbing a guy like Derrius guice of LSU who slid way down than from the anticipated late first rounder just insane to me everyone though the character thing was a concern yet Mayfield, and Allen still went as they were so why Guice for? Needless to say he'll fit perfectly with a deadly running attack Washington looks set with paired with Chris Thompson who looked absolutely phenomenal until injury now you got some insurance policy to really give Alex Smith look more confident throwing passes. One nitpick though is they should grabbed more receiver because I'm not a fan of the team receiving core, but hey you drafted some great first 3 round talent.

7 Philadelphia Eagles The Philadelphia Eagles are a professional football franchise based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Eagles compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.

The First time super bowl champion Eagles had a very good draft for waiting as long as they did David Akers taunting Dallas was great, and to top it off steal the guy they wanted in round 2 thanks to Jason Witten's sudden retirement announcement genius move by Doug Pederson, than you get a pair of steal pick Sweat fell hard in Day 3, as well as this very unique last pick from Australia. If that guy can transition from Rugby to the NFL oh man the Eagles could be repeat champs.

8 Green Bay Packers The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division. The Packers have won 4 Super Bowls and 13 NFL championships.

Okay one thing in there draft I didn't like is that they reached only on their first pick other than that they did an excellent job upgrading pretty well for Both Aaron Rodgers, and the secondary getting treated with proper care.

9 Oakland Raiders The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football franchise based in Las Vegas. The Raiders began playing in 1960 as a member club of the American Football League; they have been a member club of the National Football League since the 1970 AFL–NFL merger. In 2020, the Raiders relocated from Oakland, California to Las Vegas.

A lot of people thought the Raiders had a terrible draft I disagree with all those football experts that pan Jon Gruden's approach building a very interesting set of tench picks early on. Sure Miller was a bit of a reach, and yeah Hall was overreached quite a bit, oh and yeah taking another tackle too. Once they picked guys like Arden key, and Maurice Hurst as low as they were made me go wow this may look like a contending team if all things work out great.

10 New England Patriots The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston region. New England Patriots are one of the few teams to have 5+ wins in the Super Bowl.

Not a great draft, fairly decent picks... the big payout however is that they set themselves up with a grand number of picks in the 2019 draft oh man that's where will find answers if Tom Brady can continues or even Gronk fort that matter a win for Robert Kraft with questions raising if the Patriots may ever come back to the Super Bowl again with young talent building even more.
