NFL Teams Most Likely to Land Hunter Henry in the 2021 Offseason
For Hunter Henry decision time will be here before you know it. So, for both parties why not look around to another team that could want him in a big way. Tight End is a hard position, but you need a best friend in need onto the endzone to score touchdowns right?Jacksonville has the most money to spend, the QB is looking like to be Trevor Lawrence. While I don't know Trent Baalke very well how he would do things (Probably not good based off the past stint with the 49ers), but Hunter Henry is a much bigger upgrade over Tyler Eifert who looks like damaged goods in comparison.
Dan Arnold is serviceable, but you could load up and have a two tight end set to really show some upgrades on offense. Especially with a mediocre blocking team Cardinals have assembled. The Hunter Henry scenario wouldn't be far off from a team that is that close to contention.
Again, Panthers they have proven they do not have a Tight End on their roster. So, they are either gonna pay good portion fo that money to help their QB. There's the other idea of taking one 1st overall which is a stretch but I'd understand that. Greg Olsen may have been the franchises best Tight End, but sometimes you gotta change it up with multiple quality finders keepers right?
Again if Dak is still there (he should be). Yes you give him a Tight End, and again Jerry Jones has made some crazy moves over the years and this wouldn't be far off seeing they lack a true quality Tight End that is consistently good from week to week.
Bengals do not have a solid Tight End to rely upon. It showed with Drew Sample, and how injured prone C. J. Uzomah has looked in his time in Cincy they need something new there. He has solid weapons at Receiver, but could use help form a blocker too seeing how bad that line is.
Jets need something different at Tight Ends not it looks like it's worn off now. New QB is one thing many who hope (Justin Fields, Zach Wilson, Deshaun Watson etc.), but provide him a fresh new Tight End in the area, and now were cooking with providing weapon which they had failed for Sam Darnold (although I'm not sure what they do exactly there).
This is one team that I don't get personally, but he has been linked on a lot of sources as a possibility. Again not sold seeing sure the Bills Tight Ends are not super productive but it don't matter who that guy is they seem to catch what's important... touchdowns. If your gonna make a cut for this to make sense than Tyler Kroft would have to go to make space.
If Jonnu Smith doesn't re-sign (which could be possible). He might be one to look at for the Titans. Seeing how well Tannehill has been to the likes his Tight Ends towards the goal line. Hunter Henry would fit in this style of offense.
One LA team to the next. Granted Rams cap is the 3rd worst. The only way this could happen is he accept the cheapest deal to offer. Ram will need a tight end seeing Both Higbee, and Everett need a new place to thrive at. Stafford wasn't known to have made great weapons until last season. They would be hitting a jackpot if they found a reliable catcher like he is when heathy.
Saints have the worst cap space in the league, and this one definitely may not feel likely they will need a Tight End seeing they have no chance of keeping Jared Cook. Hunter Henry would make sense, but than again Saints put themselves into paying majority of that cap into 4 guys mainly.
