Top Ten NFL Teams Most Likely to Win Super Bowl LVI (2022)
It's time for everybody's favorite. The way too early game of next season's road to Super Bowl LVI. Some of these teams may not age well overtime, while others are expected to be back in the dance. With that said here is the best odds on teams to the least. This is either going to age on point, or be a terrible take. If Aaron Rodgers considers giving this one more shot, and does exactly what he did getting MVP honors. Can the Pack redeem themselves from a coaching meltdown they put on? Defense coordinating is the huge question mark to have like the 49ers losing Saleh. This is the best offense arguably in the NFC all rounded it is that tough to beat. They just need to hire a defensive genius and they could win another super bowl in the near future. The window is near an end for Rodgers and Green Bay fans know this. Oh and their division sucks. Lions on a rebuild, Vikings defense trending the wrong direction, and Bears love being in mediocrity.
Heading into the 2021 draft the packers best bet is a safety. Good quarterback, good offensive line, good running back, good wide receiver, good cornerback, good defensive line, good linebackers, bad safety’s, they just need to get a safety then they have a good shot at winning the super bowl. Also if Aron Rogers got nfl mvp I think he has a better shot.
Brady is the goat and it's time for others to admit it. Every time he makes the super bowl he puts on great performances even in defeat. Granted he wasn't the reason they won, Todd Bowles was more less the MVP of the super bowl. I'm not sure what will happen for the Bucs, but hey one more year with Brady and than what happens? The team could repeat, but it's highly difficult to do.
I don't intend to sound like a psychic, but here's my guesses for the score.
Buccaneers-14
Jaguars-8
Buccaneers-35
Browns-33
Buccaneers-45
Texans-28
Buccaneers-13
Jets-6
I would put this team as number 1. But the team is really aging Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are not as good as they used to be.
Buffalo Bills are a must win now team with a capable passing quarterback. They just need to run the ball with balance which is what they didn't do. Otherwise that team is loaded on talent on both sides of the football.
They are better than all the other trash teams like tampa and green bay. Josh Allen for Super Bowl MVP
They have a amazing offense they just need to work on their defense
I'm going on a limb very risky here, but Baker Mayfield turned a corner, but if he has an MVP type level of a 2021 season than maybe this ages well. Browns shocked a lot of people with the progress they made. Balance of the trench, good set of tail backs that are capable. I mean yeah there's Pittsburgh and Baltimore in that division, but if you ask me Cleveland is shaping up to a high bar for me. Just the idea if Rashard Higgins had caught that football things could have played out differently of a big what if.
That loss could be painful, dynasty denied never to be like Seattle. Chiefs offense will be very effective, but now we have figured out how perfectly you have to beat Patrick Mahomes. They will still have their core players for sure, but wow 3 of the teams biggest needs in the trenches and the back end of the defense truly showed at the very final game alright. ''Oh, but the refs were paid!'' I'm sorry that's no excuse for your defense quitting in the 3rd quarter like they did. Get help on defense don't be stubborn. They should still win their division but their division ain't no slouch to me.
I am not a psychic at all. Since Green Bay and Tampa Bay lost in the playoffs, what's next? These are the score predictions.
Kansas City Chiefs-56
Los Angeles Rams-52
Kansas City Chiefs-20
San Francisco 49ers-14 (OT)
First, second, third, and fourth downs before the Chiefs reach the end zone. Here's my guesses for the Super Bowl game:
Kansas City: 14
Tampa Bay: 10
Kansas City: 28
Detroit: 15
Here's my guesses for the scores.
Kansas City-24
New Orleans-14
So Rams have established big time pressure to win now mandate. With the core players on defense does carry this team clearly, but now it comes down to a guy who has never won a meaningful game in the playoffs. Can he get you to the very end? Cam Akers could get better in year 2. I question this passing attack how that will go. Can protection keep holding up? Rams are favorite after the big trade made. Sean McVay it's on you now.
In my opinion they have the best defense but they need to work on their offense
They just won the conference final round so they might win the super bowl
Let's see Big Ben refusing to retire one last time. Worse team running the football, Juju dancing has gotta go. Offensive line getting older and showing age. The focus to me is on the offense. This defense now has fewer chances of being lights out like the talent they have is stacked. This could be a surge of panic we could finally see seeing their window has fallen with the favorited Browns finally leaping them up.
Ravens still have a good rounded team, but Lamar Jackson looking very exposed as a passer may not be all that after all. By all means a great scrambler, but man his passing deficiency when he needs another guy open out of desperation he is way off course. It doesn't help there's is some developing noise on Orlando Brown I hate to lose a guy like that up front. Like I said it appear that defense could do a lot of the carrying, but will that be enough to overtake a rising Browns team, or even a desperate Steelers team?
They will pull of some upsets but run into a buzz saw called the Rams, my score prediction:
Rams 31
Ravens 16
The Cardinals are literally that close from being a big contender. The NFC is not that great, and Cardinals are in the hardest division out of all 4. I don't know why they tend to collapse at the very end just strange to me. Still Kyler Murray has shown both his greatness and at times very ugly showings. #1 priority is keep that core defense, and give Kyler some help with weapons and protection at al cost if you truly want to have a say this season. Sorry Fitz but it's time to go to Canton, DeAndre Hopkins can't be a one man show out there he needs another reliable guy out there on the opposite side.
I can see them maybe winning super bowl lvi they only lost twice as of december 5th
Looks like they won't they just lost the wild card game so their season is over
To me I like Washington to repeat as the NFC East champs. Cowboys and Eagles are trending the opposite way, and Giants are intriguing to say the least with their defense trending the corner. This defense is young, and could really rise to the occasion. The skill set of weapons on offense are there. Give them protection and a serviceable QB who can be mobile they can be a legit contender especially with a veteran who has gotten to a super bowl in River Boat Ron.
This is the year Seattle falls from grace. The NFC West is way too difficult now more than ever. You may have some shiny weapons to throw to, but do you keep Chris Carson? If, not what do you to to hand the ball off with exactly?
Offensive line has been mediocre for quite a long time now which is why the Seahawks may not get to another super bowl for the time being. When you have a weak trench you are setting yourself up for last place, and seeing how the Cards, Rams and 49ers look from that standpoint. Defy my logic please. Takeaway Russell Wilson, a much worse team even.
Miami Dolphins have established they were that close from making the playoffs with a rookie at place. Tua must improve in year 2 to really quiet the noise from his teammates if he was a mistake pick or not. I say like Kyler, we have seen the good and bad of Tua in small doses more less. What derailed them in the end was inconsistent passing game. What happened to the dynamic weapons' of Mike Gesicki and Devante Parker? One thing I really liked that showed Miami was right there on the cusp was great improved defense, and they were able to run the ball significantly better than last season getting some help on the offensive line. They gave the Chiefs are pretty tough ride too. I'm definitely throwing on the Dolphins as one of the higher contenders with the pieces they have in place give them a shot.
Whatever they do at Quarterback will be intriguing to say the least. They got great skill players on defense, but worries me into the 49ers is they lost their defensive coordinator and that could put them taking a big hit perhaps. They could be good enough to at least make the playoffs, but can they keep on going is the question? Big pressure for John Lynch with the high expectations on them again to turn around in a big way might be a little of a tall task with the small losses received.
Yes they won 5 games, but in those games they played very hard for a young team. I truly think this team has attraction. They got 2 good tail backs, great weapons. Need a Tight end to do more damage. Protection needs an upgrade. To me Carolina is right there. Do they make the playoffs or not I don't know but Matt Rhule has them in the right direction 2021.
The window feels like it's fading for the Titans. Arthur Smith is gone that is a sign of concern. They should still be good enough to stay competitive, but more one and done's the less chance you have to make a deep run. Pass rush is the need to go grab. The combo of Clowney, and Beasley was a huge dud. Get a young one in the draft immediately. Defense has got to be better. The quality of the AFC QB's is only getting bigger with Lawrence heading there.
A powerhouse offense, but a lackluster defense going the wrong way. I see major desperation on the part of both Rick Spielman and Mike Zimmer after the epic disappointment they put on in 2020 now going into 2021. They need guys up front, you will get Hunter back, but you need to stop the run wow was that bad down the stretch.
Okay, now we get to the bottom tier. To me the best of the bunch in terms of talent would be Denver. The problem here is the coaching is very questionable if they can get over the hump especially in a do or die attempt for Vic Fangio. Personally their goose might be cooked if your willing to die on the ship with the staff you brought in I guess.
Bears were very lucky to sneak in the playoffs. They are no different from before. If they bottom out this time around. It well be because you overstayed two cons that were cheering on a meaningless playoff birth. Besides being negative and harsh to this team. David Montgomery looks like a stud. Defense is better than most in the league, but at other times they can look overrated as well. Monsters of the mediocrity.
Raiders to me are falling fast. They would need to do well in the draft to have any last minute credit to take seriously. Backfield is terrible, is Derek Carr/Jon Gruden the right people in place? If they go last place in that division. You have to wonder if they care at that point and sink back as if those 2000's teams never rested their graves of misery back from the dead.
Many years have passed after the Bengals lost in many seasons. As of January 30 of 2022, Cincinnati defeated Kansas City at the AFC championship. What's next? Find out on February 13 for Super Bowl 56 in Inglewood, California!
Bengals-56
49ers-52
Bengals-13
Rams-6
I mean it's tough to move any further if you're the Bengals. Cincy fans are getting tortured by bad ownership too. Zac Taylor has been terrible from day 1. Handling things the wrong way. Bengals hired the wrong McVay disciple. Joe Burrow could be good down the road, but this isn't helping him with incompetent coaching in the way.
They just won the conference finals round today so they might win the super bowl
Oh, how thy mighty have finally fallen. Saints have the worst cap room in football. They will lose a ton on defense, and perhaps may make a sacrifice on Michael Thomas to trade away possibly. New Orleans I see regression hitting them big time in 2021.
New coach, new mindset, young new fresh stars on the rise to the challenge of Kansas City. This team could be sneaky good if coached up right.
Bring in Gardner Minshew and they could make the playoffs as the final seed in the NFC. I think Danny Daimes is a bust at this point with how many turnovers he has cost his team. Gotta start to wonder about Barkley who has been hurt 2 seasons in a row now. This team need a revamped receiving core, this isn't working the trio combined. Offensive line is inconsistent. Like Washington though the defense does keep them in games. There skill set is just far more weaker on offense hurts.
This was a toss up, how fired up will Bill Belichick feel that Tom Brady has won this battle? He could not make the playoffs with the worst Patriot offense I have ever seen. They need to totally retool that offense. They can make the playoffs if the defense is 100% and doesn't opt out. It's just offense can you find those big steals in the draft? It's getting harder to stay on top with how impressive the Dolphins, and Bills have gotten to the top after suffering for 2 decades.
I don't know what to expect of this offense just yet. What I do see is this Jets defense should take a graceful step giving teams headaches with the little pulses they have shown, and now hired Robert Saleh in place.
