Most Forgettable U.S States
Rhode Island, officially the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, is a state in the New England region of the United States. I live in Newport, Rhode Island. So Rhode Island is better than you think. We have some of the best beaches that aren't ridiculously crowded (coughMiamicough) and we have rich history. But yes, we are VERY forgettable.
It's not forgettable, it's the smallest state in USA.

North Dakota is the 39th state of the United States, having been admitted to the union on November 2, 1889. Easily one of the worst and most forgettable states. Nothing but flat open field, tons of snow and freezing cold, floods, mosquitoes, and no lakes.

Even I forgot Delaware existed and the last time I even heard about it was around 2013-2014 while at elementary school, and I was like 6-7 years old at the time.
