Top Ten Former WWE Wrestlers Who Have Fallen from Grace
Former wrestlers that were respected at one point, but have managed to lose that respect in some way.To germshep24, you can't really separate the good things he done with the very bad thing that he done. Bill Cosby and Oscar Pistorius used to be highly liked people because of the very good things they did. The good things they did does not separate them from the reason people hate them now. The bad, bad thing they've done overshadows whatever good things they've done. The same thing is the case for Chris Benoit.
Chris Benoit was, at one point, thought of as one of the best wrestlers of all time, but tragic events late in his life caused that to change. In 2007, Benoit killed his wife, Nancy, and his son, Daniel, followed by him killing himself. This had caused a large decline in respect for Chris Benoit.
I mean this kind of goes without saying...
Despite his extreme amount of talent, fans have lost a lot of respect for Sabu in recent years. His comments against Renee Young, Lana, Jim Ross, Vader, Nikolai Volkoff, Brickhouse Brown, and Grandmaster Sexay were all disgusting, and he has rightfully lost respect due to them.
Sabu is one of the greatest of all time. What he said about half those people is true. I miss seeing him in the ring.

Enzo Amore was one of the most popular wrestlers in all of WWE when he was in the Certified G tag team, but after proving himself to be a douchebag time and time again, he has lost both his job, and respect from the fans.
Kamala used to be a popular heel in the 80s and 90s, but he has gained controversy in recent years. After news of his poor health conditions have came out, people wanted to help Kamala out. That being said, fellow wrestler, Dawn Marie, tried to collect money to help Kamala out. When she earned enough money, she sent it to Kamala, who then complained about her taking the money for herself. When Kamala’s claims were proved false, he lost respect from the fans that just wanted to help him out.
Hulk Hogan used to be (and still is, but to a lesser extent) one of the most loved wrestlers of all time, but after racist comments he made in a leaked tape from 2005 resurfaced in 2015, he has lost a lot of respect from wrestlibg fans, along with his job. He is currently in a much better spot then he was in 2015, but he is still very controversial and disliked by many fans.
Brutus Beefcake used to be very over in the 80s, but after being very disrespectful to indie promoters, including no-showing various shows, fans started to lose respect for him.
The other former Certified G star isn’t doing very well for himself either. After causing fights with other wrestlers, damaging a WWE tour bus, and going off script, Cass lost a lot of respect from fans as well as his job. Unlike his former tag partner, Enzo, Cass appears to have legitimate remorse for the things he did in WWE, but he is still yet to recover from his poor decisions.
Virgil used to be a somewhat popular midcarder in the 80s, but after gaining controversy for pestering fans at wrestling conventions, Virgil has lost respect from wrestling fans.
Chyna had the worst fall from grace of any wrestler that did not commit a felony.
Val Venis used to be a popular midcarder in the 90s. Now he is an anarchist that tries to push people into investing in cryptocurrencies. Needless to say, fans have lost a lot of respect for Venis.
