Best Four80east Songs

Four80East was the first jazz group I've every listened to, and they got me interested in the genre. This is a very underrated jazz group. Their music production is very unique compared to most jazz, as they produce a mixture of smooth, chill-out tunes with upbeat rhythms, and tunes with funky drum beats and high-tempo instrumentals. I think they definitely deserve to be listened to by anyone who's interested in jazz.

2 Eastside

Being the very first song from the group, I have to say that this is the best way to get your band started. Eastside pretty much introduces almost every member of the group, with incredible piano, bass, saxophone solos. The song also has a very catchy and upbeat tempo with a simple piano loop. - Mcgillacuddy

6 Spun

No matter what album it is from F80E, we always have to get a song that stands out from the others. This is the obvious one from their 2012 album "Off Duty". A smooth, chill-out song with a popping rhythm, a beautiful piano solo, and an electric guitar riff to finish it off, something that F80E doesn't normally do. - Mcgillacuddy

7 While the City Sleeps

The album "Roll On" was actually the least favorable of F80E's discography, but the it still had some good hits. With a catchy rhythm and awesome guitar and piano solos, While the City Sleeps stood out among the other tracks. - Mcgillacuddy
