Top Ten Franchises that Need More Representation in Super Smash Bros

The Top Ten
1 Monster Hunter
2 Golden Sun
3 The Legend Of Zelda

We need Zant and Ghirahim.

4 Final Fantasy
5 Shantae
6 Mega Man Mega Man, known as Rockman in Japan, is the title character and the protagonist of the Mega Man series by Capcom.
7 Pokemon Pokémon, abbreviated from the Japanese title of Pocket Monsters and currently advertised in English as Pokémon: The Series, is a Japanese anime television series, which has been adapted for the international television markets. It was first broadcast in Japan on April 1, 1997, in the United States ...read more.

I wouldn't say more representation, but needs better representation. Jigglypuff, pichu, pikachu, all poor choices for Pokemon. I'd like to see Scyther, Alakazam, Tyrannitar, or Eevee in the game.

We need a Pokemon Anime rep already!

8 Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
9 Dragon Quest

The representation of Dragon Quest in Smash is actually quite appalling. Eight MIDI music tracks, barely any stage representation, 16 mediocre spirits, three hats, two costumes, and the character representation is ridiculous? Sixteen specials? All the others have four. There are alts of four heroes, one of which are to promote DQXI's switch port. "Well recived", what a joke. No wonder Sakurai was nervous about all this.

10 Halo
The Contenders
11 Castlevania
12 Kirby Kirby is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Kirby series of video games owned by Nintendo and HAL Laboratory. His first game was created in 1992, and the pink puffball has made his way into the hearts of fans of all ages.

Smash wouldn't exist without Kirby.

13 Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic the Hedgehog, trademarked Sonic The Hedgehog, is the title character and protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by SEGA, as well as numerous spin-off comics, five animated shows, and an animated OVA.

Only one character and two stages. Where the hell is Knuckles and Shadow.

14 Shovel Knight
15 Donkey Kong Donkey Kong is an arcade game released by Nintendo in 1981. It is an early example of the platform game genre, as the gameplay focuses on maneuvering the main character across a series of platforms while dodging and jumping over obstacles.
16 Catherine (video game)

Considering Catherine is a PS3 exclusive and NEVER was represented in Smash...

I've never heard of this game.

17 Star Fox

Only 3 reps. Krystal, Peppy, or Slippy would make great additions to the game. (I know people hate Slippy, but I personally like him.)

18 Minecraft

Am I the only one who wants Steve in Smash Bros?

19 Arms

I must admit, I was a little surprised that Nintendo so far haven't included any Arms characters in the roster for Smash Ultimate, considering you'd think they'd use that as an opportunity to promote their new IP.
Spring Man and Ribbon Girl would be the obvious choices, though Ninjara would be kinda cool as well.

20 Bomberman
21 F-Zero

Throughout the whole series there has only ever been ONE representative for F-Zero, Captain Falcon. Samurai Goroh has been an assist trophy, but I think Black Shadow would make a good addition to the roster. Not only is he big and muscly but he can also use an energy tether on his opponents.
Given how little Nintendo seem to care about F-Zero at the moment it's looking doubtful this franchise will ever get more than one representative.
(Side note: Whoever put Pokemon on this list is surely having a laugh.)

22 Virtua Fighter
23 Undertale
BAdd New Item
