1 Crash Bandicoot
Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, 3 Outsold Mario in their time. Best Platformer back then. Good trilogy. Exciting levels. Great soundtrack. Replayability. Sony needs to bring them back, it'd be great to have a reboot on the PS4.
Why did they have to get rid of crash? He was so awesome.
2 Mario
The best sonic game doesn't even compete with the worst mainline Mario game.
Mario is my favorite platformer.

11 Banjo Kazooie
Even though I like Mario and Crash Bandicoot, Banjo Kazooie on the 64 had very good platforming elements and a good soundtrack.
Should be in the top 10
