The Tom Hanks bots are at it again. - isaaonrtdmtr

I haven't voted for him. There are MUCH BETTER ACTORS THAN TOM HANKS!

I think he's just OK. My favorite male actors right now are Jake Gyllenhaal, Christian Bale, and Leonardo DiCaprio. - Y2K

Oath he is. - ParasN2000

2 Wayne Gretzky: The Best Hockey Player of All Time Wayne Gretzky: The Best Hockey Player of All Time Wayne Douglas Gretzky CC is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and former head coach. He played 20 seasons in the National Hockey League for four teams from 1979 to 1999.

I remember reading about Gretzky in SI when he was only 14 years old. Even then, the sports media world was very aware of him. He played in the WHA for under 2 years, and when that league folded, the NHL absorbed some of the teams, including the Edmonton Oilers. The NHL did demand the Oilers give up Gretzky to come into the league, and they refused, they would rather keep him and have no league to play in then to give him up. The NHL eventually allowed the Oilers to keep him and come into the league. I had the pleasure of watching him play live in that first year, and although the Minnesota North Stars won handily, there was no doubt who the best player on the ice was, obviously Gretzky. The North Stars just couldn't get the puck from him, he knew exactly where to skate to keep them at bay. It was very impressive. My experience, combined with the stats and Stanley Cups he collected, make it obvious. For anyone who watched him play in his prime, the Great One is easily the greatest ...more - Ned964

3 Muhammad Ali: Greatest Boxer of All Time
4 The Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd: The Best Album Cover

Hmm, this one not so much. Always a top 10 contender, but several other choices for #1.

It's been at #1 for long time on the list Best Album Covers; it's also at #1 as of today, Sept 24, 2018. But there are contenders, of course. - Metal_Treasure

5 Pizza - Best Junk Food
6 Queen - The Greatest Band of All Time Queen - The Greatest Band of All Time Queen are an English rock band formed in 1970. Members were Freddie Mercury (Vocals and Piano), Brian May (Guitar, Vocals), Roger Taylor (Drums, Vocals), and John Deacon (Bass Guitar, Vocals). Before forming into Queen, Brian May and Roger Taylor had played together in a band named Smile. Freddie Mercury more.

This wasn't added by me because I think for most people either The Beatles or Led Zeppelin is the greatest band (due to popularity contest). Queen is just the real greatest band. The Beatles and Led Zeppelin have always been overrated. - Metal_Treasure

On this site, they clearly have the consensus. They are not my favorite band, and not too many I have run into. Of course, I've been so far removed from any modern opinion, other than this site, for so long, that apparently Queen has exploded in popularity. They certainly were innovative and talented. - Ned964

Not even my favourite band, but I honestly think they are the greatest of all time.. It's my opinion

One of my favourite bands of all time. - Userguy44

7 Lose Yourself - the Best Eminem song

I disagree. I would put a lot of other songs first, like Stan, When I'm Gone, The Way I Am, Sing for the Moment, Love the Way You Lie, Like Toy Soldiers, etc. - Y2K

I'm a metal fan but I like this song. - Metal_Treasure

8 Pele: The Best Soccer/Football Player of All Time Pele: The Best Soccer/Football Player of All Time Edson Arantes do Nascimento, known as "Pelé", is a retired Brazilian professional footballer who played as a forward. He is one of the best players in football, hence why he's nicknamed the "king of football".

Not everyone would agree but most people would - Metal_Treasure

The Contenders

11 George Carlin - The Best Comedian
12 Hallowed Be Thy Name: the Best Iron Maiden song

Yeah, not too many people would disagree with this. I'm one of them, though. "Run to the Hills" for me. In fact, Hallowed wouldn't be in my top 10. - truckturner

Great song, but there are several Iron Maiden songs I like more probably - Fear of the Dark, Alexander the Great. - Merkwurdigliebe

I prefer run to the hills. - DaringXx

13 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Greatest Video Game of All Time
14 Justin Bieber: The Worst Singer Ever

While I'm not a Justin Bieber fan, I don't think he's even a bad singer. Whenever I hear one of his songs, I always wonder why his music is so hated. People hate Justin Bieber simply because it's cool, and the hatred he gets has nothing to do with whether or not he's a good singer.

I'm not his fan but I'm sure he is NOT the Worst Singer Ever. I've heard much worse singers than him. - Metal_Treasure

If anyone, Yoko Ono is the worst. - isaaonrtdmtr

She's definitely one of the worst I know. Justin Bieber is a great singer compared to her and the other guys I mean. - Metal_Treasure

This has got to be #1

Sorry but I don't bandwagon and don't make generic lists with cliched items on them - Metal_Treasure

15 Bruce Dickinson - The Best Metal Frontmen Ever

Through his amazing voice, his attitude on stage, his charisma... I always tought Bruce Dickinson was above the other metal singers. Don't know if you guys agree

16 Freddie Mercury - The Greatest Singer of All Time Freddie Mercury - The Greatest Singer of All Time Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara, 5th September 1946 - 24th November 1991) was a Zanzibari-born British singer of Indian descent, songwriter and record producer, known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the British rock band Queen. He also became known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave more.

This item wasn't added by me - it was added by a Freddie hater just to create an opportunity for himself to make multiple hate comments as a visitor. I'm pretty sure the same guy added the item "Queen" for the same reason. - Metal_Treasure

I agree - ABSOLUTELY! As much as I adore Freddie, he's not in the same league as the very experienced, classical/operatic male singers.

You don't adore Freddie. You are a Freddie hater. Your comments are just a cheap attempt at concealing your hate. - Metal_Treasure

Yes and he is the best

Huge contention here. Many might agree he is the best pop/rock singer ever, but once you move into the classical world, Pavarotti, Caruso, Lanza, Bocelli, and Bjorling at the very least [among males] would gain favor over Freddy from the majority of people familiar with multiple genres.

You don't have to move to the classical world when you talk about a rock singer, it's like apples to oranges. And apparently Freddie had the most classical influence in his rock singing. Also, Freddie vocal range is much bigger than the guys you mentioned. Not saying they are bad singers - they are great. But Freddie was also great in his own right. - Metal_Treasure

17 Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back - The Best Star Wars Ever
18 Yoko Ono: The Worst Singer Ever Yoko Ono: The Worst Singer Ever Yoko Ono is a Japanese multimedia artist, singer, songwriter, and peace activist who is also known for her work in performance art, music, and filmmaking.
