Now personally (and this can't just be my opinion) either these are people who have had bad school/work experiences, or have never visited the country. I definitely agree with UK, Aus and Canada being top 3 because everyone I've met from these countries is usually just lovely.
Yeah! I'm a British girl and so many people in the UK are so gentle and kind! Screw the negative stereotypes! I definitely agree! (Not arrogant, just from my point of view! )

Nicest people ever. Period.
Our terrible political problems have created problems in our society, but for the most part, we are very friendly people. Kathmandu does have riots that end up badly a lot these days but other places like Pokhara are very beautiful and very helpful people. And small villages, although lacking modernization and human development, are so freindly. Most people will let you spend a night or two at their house, give you good food and a warm bed, and treat you like your there kids. I highly recommend you visit Nepal, or wait for its gov't to get more stable for your own safty
