Here are some fun facts about the children's TV channel Nickelodeon. This network has been around since 1977 so of course there's going to be a lot of useless trivia about the channel.
Invader Zim is an American animated television series created by Jhonen Vasquez for Nickelodeon. The series centers on an extraterrestrial named Zim from the planet Irk, and his mission to conquer Earth and enslave the human race along with his malfunctioning robot servant GIR. Alright this is some really horrifying stuff so yeah if you don't like disturbing stuff don't read this. OK so during Scott Dyleski's murder trial he talked about the episode Dark Harvest where Zim steals organs to be more "human." YEAH YOU LOOK PRETTY HUMAN RIGHT NOW DUDE! Honestly I felt uncomfortable typing that hahaha! And let's just say the stuff he did in real life is similar to what Zim did in the episode. Not sure how far I can go without getting this comment deleted by the great and powerful admin. However witnesses for the defense believed he said it as a joke.
Rugrats is an American animated television series created by Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó and Paul Germain for Nickelodeon. Yep this happened. After Arlene Klasky and Gábor Csupó started their own TV shows, Rugrats was made and then they divorced because the success of Rugrats put too much pressure on them I guess. Apparently he had a large chip on his shoulder since he was pink. Crazy.

He wanted the song to explain to the audience who Danny Phantom is and what the show is about. I have this theme engraved in my mind at this point. It's an awesome theme. Also this is the first Nick show theme song with rapping in it, so that's cool. However before that Butch made it like a poem but then while they were working with Guy Moon they thought "hey this kinda sounds like hip-hop let's make it a rap song" and here we are.
Power Rangers Samurai is the eighteenth season of the American children's television series Power Rangers. Rick Medina, the actor for one of the power rangers during the Wild Force era and also a villain in Power Rangers Samurai (which is the most nostalgic one for me by the way), was sentenced to prison after he murdered his roommate with a sword. Yes, a sword. A SWORD. The guy who played a bad guy in Power Rangers Samurai was also is a bad guy in real life.
Reminds me of when Nickelodeon ran a bumper featuring Silento. Those were different times.

Drake directed the first part of "Really Big Shrimp", and Josh directed the episode "Battle of Panthar." Little Big Shrimp is one of my favorite Drake and Josh episodes, it has a great story. Battle of Panthar is just one of the funniest episodes in the entire show to me. Really Big Shrimp is also the episode where Crazy Steve yells "YOU ATE MY ENCHILADA" at Josh. I love Crazy Steve. I want to be adopted by Crazy Steve.
SpongeBob SquarePants is a fictional character and the titular character and protagonist of the American animated television series of the same name. Spongiforma squarepantsii is what it's called. Researchers at the San Francisco State University discovered a fungus in 2010 at the island of Borneo, an island in Asia and they named it after SpongeBob. That's cool! I love it.
The Ren & Stimpy Show, often simply referred to as Ren & Stimpy, is an American animated television series created by John Kricfalusi for Nickelodeon. One day John K (creator of Ren & Stimpy) was shown a picture of, well, a chihuahua in a sweater. If you want to see the picture you can message me and I'll be happy to share the picture with you. It's a very funny photo to me! John called the dog a "psychotic looking monster in a cute sweater" and I think that's how Ren got his personality. Minus the sweater part of course Ren doesn't wear a sweater. Also Stimpy's design was inspired by another cartoon character who appeared in a Looney Tunes cartoon titled "A Gruesome Twosome" and it's just as entertaining as any other Looney Tunes cartoon. The cat in the cartoon that inspired Stimpy's design was the orange cat that appears in this cartoon.
Chris Graham drew a bloody image of GIR that somehow didn't get put up by approval from Nickelodeon so a bloody image of GIR exists in random frames of episodes that are practically impossible to see. Unfortunately, Nickelodeon removed it from the show (unsurprisingly) but you can still see it on YouTube and streaming services. It's creepy but honestly I think it's awesome that this happened. If you're wondering why it's there, well basically Jhonen wanted a bloody picture of GIR in some episodes but Nick forbade this. The image was already made though, so Jhonen and some others snuck Bloody GIR in.

Butch Hartman originally named Timmy Turner Mikey Turner after his older brother Mikey; however, the two ended up getting into a fight, and Butch decided to name Timmy after another one of his brothers, Timothy, instead.
