The Top Ten

1 Guitar

You have so many options in atlernating the sound, like no other instrument, beside the voice of a human. Of course, there is a difference between an electric one and an acoustic. I prefer the elctric. It seems easier to play at first, but is much harder to master in the end. When I've started the guitar 25 years ago, it was a really tough time to get into it, but when you start to have fun and make pauses, when your fingers are telling you to, you will begin to progress a lot. Actually I personally know no one who can play the guitar like myself. It is not meant arrogant, but I just have never met one. So to be good in playing the guitar takes a lot of effort and time, which most people are not willing to invest and maybe a young age is a good start for any instrument, which I think helped me a lot. So what I want to say, the guitar is probably one of the most popular instrument to play, but there are not so many people who are able or willing, to get good in it. But in the end, I ...more

What I love about the guitar is how amazing it could sound, on any piece of music. It could fit in any genre, too for no reason and I still love it.

Another instrument I really enjoy playing.

Most things that are this fun are illegal

2 Piano The piano is a musical instrument played using a keyboard, which is a row of keys that the performer presses down or strikes with the fingers and thumbs of both hands.

I played piano for four years. I took a year off, and it's great sound and fun technique inspired me to take piano lessons once again!

Piano is a horrible instrument in my opinion so boring

I have an electric one so I can play almost anything with it.

The piano is one of my favorite instruments to play. And I'm really good at playing it,and its just fun.

3 Drums

It can be challenging as most instruments are but it is fun even when you don't know how to play. Can burn calories in my opinion

The funest of them all you can hit things really hard with sticks

I really love using the drums. It's just fun.

Challanging and you smash stuff up what more do you want

4 Saxophone The saxophone is a family of woodwind instruments. Saxophones are usually made of brass and played with a single-reed mouthpiece similar to that of the clarinet.

I have not even started playing this wonderful instrument and I'm already exited to play

The Tenor Sax is so fun to play and it is relatively easy to learn.

I play the saxophone and it is really fun. Alto and Tenor

Tenor sax is so awesome with a good tone... melts faces

5 Clarinet

Clarinet is clearly the most superior instrument. It is very well balanced and creates such a majestic sound. It also looks very beautiful. Clarinets blend nicely with all other instruments and can play almost anything.

I actually play the clarinet and I think that once you get to learn the notes/rhythms eighth notes, sixteenth notes, and runs are really fun.

I've played it for 8 years and I love leaning the new songs and hearing the rhythm showing through! It has such a lovely tone as well!

instrument best the is Clarinet

6 Violin The violin is a wooden string instrument in the violin family. It is the smallest and highest-pitched instrument in the family in regular use.

You need to know how to play the violin really well and then it's fun to play.

I may not be too good at this instrument, but it sure it fun to play

So fun if you know what to do

It is the best

7 Banjo

The banjo is the definition
of fun. The sound, the fingerpicking. It's the essence of fun :D

8 Ukulele

Portable, inexpensive - you can't not smile while playing the ukulele!
What other instrument can you join a club of fellow players having fun singing and accompanying songs?
Yes the ukulele is the most fun and fashionable instrument and is now being taught in schools as it's also easy to play.

It's a fun and portable interesting instrument to play, plus it sounds super nice.

So easy but so good.

It’s Just like a guitar but it plays more smoothly.

9 Flute The flute is a family of musical instruments in the woodwind group. Unlike woodwind instruments with reeds, a flute is an aerophone or reedless wind instrument that produces its sound from the flow of air across an opening.

Flute is the best by far. I mean yeah, it takes LOTS of breath, but it’s worth it. Flute also can help you with certain sports, like swim. So yeah. Play flute

I love love love love love fast music, having the melody, challenges, being right in front of the conductor, small cases or easy transport and almost everything about the flute! It's also fun to be able to smash the low brass player's ear drums.

One sentence,” I'm better than you”

10 Trombone

As a learning trombone player, I can say the trombone is delightfully difficult and very memeable

It's practically a toy with a rich sound. A crying shame it gets boring parts.

I pay trombone and it's so, so fun! Shame that it always gets boring parts

Its Funny

The Contenders

11 Mandolin

Most underrated instrument

12 Trumpet A trumpet is a blown musical instrument commonly used in classical and jazz ensembles. The trumpet group contains the instruments with the highest register in the brass family.

I used to play this, then I switched to percussion, but for real, this instrument is a beast.

It's easily the most used instrument; you can use it in any style of music.

Why is this so low?

jazzy

13 Bass

Bass is underrated. Of all players, bass players are overlooked the most. Bass is awesome and fun.

The bass and double bass make such good background instruments

Bass adds soul to the music. And you can groove to it as well!

If you like it deep, then the bass is for you.

14 Euphonium

I've played the euphonium for 7 years in school, it's amazingly easy to pick up and learn the basics for (especially because of the loose lip positions), has a wide range that sounds cool, and can play many parts when you're good. It's so sad when they only get bass parts.

15 Cello The cello or violoncello is a bowed or plucked string instrument with four strings tuned in perfect fifths.

I play the cello. It's just the perfect range. And it doesn't sound terrible when you first start.

Where is cello on this list? Where?

It's just such a great instrument

I think it's fun and sounds good

16 French Horn

But for french horn you have to shove your fist all the way in the bell, so don't talk

I prefer the vienna horn

Most can't play it there isn't a lot in a band and requires you to mot to get made when you mess up bc you will mess up a tone

I personally play french horn and I find that it is really fun once you get past figuring out the instrument

17 Harp The harp is a stringed musical instrument that has a number of individual strings running at an angle to its soundboard; the strings are plucked with the fingers.

So beautiful it’s lumpin’!

18 Tuba

I played euphonium, baritone, trumpet and mellophone and in the end tuba is the one that always makes me smile, something about the low bass sound that allows you to play so many meme songs. Also with the sousaphone me and my friends are able to run around in formation while playing low Bb acting like planes, just the amount of stuff you can do with a tuba is amazing, so much fun, recommend to anyone who has the lung capacity

Best instrument, if you don't think so, you can fight me.

TUBA IS THE GREATEST OF ALL"ask any tuba player. It’s anyone’s favorite instrument who plays tuba.

19 Bass Guitar

The glue that holds any band together.

The mix of rhythm and melody, creating what is perhaps the most perfect instrument ever.

Ah whatever, it sounds great and it should be appreciated more.

It sounds like dance music of the 70s and it holds everything in the band together

Very underrated and the heart of the band

BASS IS EPICO

22 Bassoon

I LOOOOOVE bassoon. I learned it in 6th grade- so lucky there was a spot. It is the coolest instrument and can play sooo deep. For all you people who put bassoon as #27 (?) The bassoon is the best. Also, fun fact, a nickname for the bassoon is the "farting bedpost"

It's THE BEST INSTRUMENT. ITS NOT A JOKE, TRY PLAYING IT, THE BASSOONS REALLY HARD (unlike majority of the instruments on this list * cough cough clarinet and trumpet cough cough *
